Die wildeste und natürlichste Küste Dänemarks findet sich am Nationalpark Thy. Keine Buhnen oder sonstige Küstenschutzbauten, selten ein paar Menschen, nur endlose Weite, Dünen und Strand. Genauso hat es hier schon vor tausenden von Jahren ausgesehen.
Den vildeste og mest naturlige kyst Danmark kan findes på National Park Thy. Ingen høfder eller andre Küstenschutzbauiten, sjældent nogle få mennesker, kun endeløse sletter, klitter og strand. Så det lignede her allerede tusinder af år siden

Early in the morning (the alarm clock actually rang at two o'clock...) at lake Hintersee - so beautiful...
And it felt that you could really hear the sound of silence.

Diese Besucher aus poliertem Edelstahl kommen aus einer kleineren Dimension und sind in Wirklichkeit nur 4 mm groß. Es handelt sich hier um das auf einer Gabel eingeprägte Markenzeichen der Firma "Zwilling". Bei einer Vergrößerung von ca. 4:1 werden faszinierende Reflexionen sichtbar.
These polished stainless steel visitors come from a smaller dimension and are in reality only 4 mm. This is the trademark of the company "Zwilling" embossed on a fork. At a magnification of approx 4:1 fascinating reflections become visible.

3 weeks and 9500 photos later, I'm back in Germany - with a lot of jet lag, but with the experience of another great photo trip to the Southwest of the USA. This time I went with two friends - a great tour, exhausting but worth it...we only had one day of bad photo weather - which followed this exciting sunset.
A thunderstorm came up and the play of colors was unique - I've been here a few times at sunrise - but almost always without clouds - this was a completely different number... the air was so full of electricity that your hair felt like when Struwwelpeter (shock-headed Peter) stood up tangled - that looked really bizarre, especially on women with long hair - I had never experienced anything like that. And in retrospect it was good that I didn't follow my friend's advice to leave this place immediately because there was a risk of being struck by lightning...so I finished this panorama photo - consisting of 2 in total rows of 4 images using my nodal adapter.
It rained heavily that night and as it continued the following day we unfortunately couldn't do our booked Canyon X photo tour due to flooding - all slot canyons around Page were closed...but that's moaning on a high level - because, as always, such storms are the best prerequisite for interesting photos...

3 Wochen und 9500 Fotos später, bin ich wieder in Deutschland - mit ziemlichem Jet-Lag, aber mit der Erfahrung einer weiteren tollen Fotoreise in den Südwesten der USA. Dieses Mal war ich mit zwei Freunden unterwegs - eine tolle Tour, anstrengend, aber es hat sich gelohnt...wir hatten nur einen Tag schlechtes (Foto-) Wetter - der auf diesen spannenden Sonnenuntergang folgte.
Es zog ein Gewitter auf und das Farbenspiel war einmalig - ich war schon ein paar Mal hier zum Sonnenaufgang - doch fast immer ohne Wolken - das hier war eine ganz andere Nummer...die Luft war so voll von Elektrizität, dass einem die Haare wie beim Struwwelpeter wirr vom Kopf standen - das sah vor allem bei Frauen mit langen Haaren richtig bizarr aus - so etwas hatte ich noch nicht erlebt. Und im Nachhinein war es gut, dass ich nicht dem Rat meines Freundes gefolgt bin, diesen Ort sofort zu verlassen, weil die Gefahr bestand, vom Blitz getroffen zu werden...so habe ich dann dieses Panoramafoto noch fertig gemacht - insgesamt bestehend aus 2 Reihen a 4 Bildern mithilfe meines Nodal-Adapters.
Es regnete in Strömen in dieser Nacht und da sich das am folgenden Tag fortsetzte, konnten wir leider unsere gebuchte Fototour durch den Canyon X wegen Überflutung nicht machen - alle Slot Canyons um Page herum waren gesperrt...aber das ist Stöhnen auf hohem Niveau - weil wie immer, sind solche Unwetter die beste Voraussetzung für interessante Fotos...
