Trees reflection in a small lake, Byron Bay Tourist Village, a camping & caravan site just outside Byron Bay, NSW, Australia. Quiet camp site when we were there, just outside the vibrant town of Byron Bay. You don't need to worry about noisy guests on the camp site, it's the birds that wake you up! Messing around with the effects of my Silver Efex Pro 2 software.

Light on leather is one of my favorite things. I hate leather couches sometimes, but the feel of a deep, dark, slinky sofa is at times too much to resist. I can understand why girls love these handbags.

More abstraction. Seems like I can't resist them.

Tiergarten - Berlin 2011

Here's one from a backcountry canoe trip that I took over a year ago. I've always been on the fence about this one. On one hand, I like the colors and reflections. But on the other, I'm not crazy about the composition. This warm glow on the red rocks only lasted for a few minutes, and I couldn't find anything to use as a foreground as I was scrambling around. I decided to just focus on the reflections, but I'm not sure if the lines in this image work or not. Feel free to let me know whether or not it works for you. I always appreciate honest feedback because I think it's the best way to learn and improve. Thanks!

Edited with Ivan's crop suggestion and lightened polarized area per Joe's comment. Thanks guys!

At the lily pond, the reflections of the flowers were all so gorgeous. I decided to just capture the reflection of this beauty. I like how it looks almost like a water color picture. At first glance, it just looks like the flower is upside down.

Create a seam with two mirrors and play with varying the angle. What happens when you place an object between them? How many reflections can you create? Share your experiments with us by uploading to the Exploratorium Reflections photo group!
