Sun which is just about to set, casts beautiful reflections in the Indian Ocean

on a hardware store window in Washington DC

- Reflective back shows my hand waving above the iPod. Only one focal depth possible, as the camera is f/0.8. Black is the reflected cooler ceiling of the room.

- Non-reflective engraved surface shows actual heat of the iPod ... which matches the blanket's ambient room temp.

- Note slight heat in the upper right of the iPod. I took a few pics of the front of the Ipod, and there was a hot spot on the left side of the LCD. This is leaking onto the blanket.

If you've been following along with me, you know I love my autumn watery reflections... Didn't find some like I had in years past, but I did particularly like this one covered in "confetti"

Stay tuned for more of what we found:)

Taken in NZ on a very still, calm day enabling me to capture the reflection of the hills.

26/365. A bathroom in a restaurant in Gort. A friend has just moved here and we went out to visit him as he adapted to his newly-found ruralness...

It was also the day of the All-Ireland Hurling Final. My hometown Galway were playing, and inevitably we ended up in the pub for the entire day. I was without my camera and hadn't intended staying out so late and didn't have a photo for today, so in a panic I went snapping pics with my camera phone. The colours of this bathroom caught my drunken eye.

I'm mildly happy with the composition of this, but that's about it!

The only time she likes getting her picture made is when it is her idea. This was not. She begrudgingly glanced up at me, but I know she was much more interested in keeping her nose pressed against the glass to see if she could spot the monkeys. Although she didn't say, the look in her eyes said it all. "Mom, would you please stop taking pictures? Can't we just look in peace?"

Reflection of a Rickenbacker bass seen in the pickup plates of a customized Gibson Les paul. Noticed the reflection while wondering around a room. I like how there is the record which Layla is on behind, by Derek and the Dominos (one of Eric Clapton's most famous) All good stuff!

Comments welcome... :) Cheers
