This is my first entry for We do it everyday, which has a list of 180 things to take pictures of. I decided to build them myself...
I did not photoshop this image except for contrast and sharpness - I actually built the houses twice and put them together.

Dit is mijn eerste bijdrage aan We do it everyday, een groep met een lijst van 180 dingen om te fotograferen. Ik heb besloten om ze eerst zelf te bouwen.
Ik heb Photoshop alleen gebruikt voor contrast en scherpte - ik heb dus echt de huisjes 2x gebouwd en aan elkaar gezet.
In de Design Vlaanderen Galerie wordt de tentoonstelling "Reflections" herhaald die tijdens de vorige Milan Design Week in de Triënnale voor de eerste maal werd gepresenteerd. De tentoonstelling was een eerbetoon aan de Belgische ingenieurs Emile Foucault en Emile Gobbe die in 1903 het eerste mechanische systeem voor de productie van glas ontwikkelden, nl. het verticaal trekken van vlakglas. Dit zorgde wereldwijd voor een totale ommekeer in de glasnijverheid en het opende de weg naar de industriële productie van glas na de 1ste Wereldoorlog. Dat België aan de wieg ligt van de industrialisatie van vlakglas en er in België nog verschillende bedrijven zijn die samen met vele ontwerpers spiegels op de markt brengen was de aanleiding voor Reflections.
Maak kennis met niet enkel spiegels van Belgische designers maar ook andere voorwerpen met een spiegelend oppervlak, waarin het licht reflecteert en spiegelbeelden ontstaan. Eén voor één vormen ze hoogtepunten van design. Ontdek primeurs maar evengoed klassiekers van de hand van boeiende ontwerpers en bedrijven.

Another option for today's CY prompt "reflection"...and totally fits Where I stand today....After a rain and wind storm, the birdbath is filled with pine needles, pine cones, branches and leaves. Today I scrubbed the slimy sides and bottom and refilled with new water. #whereistandtoday#ourwisproject
Out walking this morning and saw this reflection in Minnehaha Creek from a bridge. Unusual ice crystals. Best viewed as large as you can make it. The physical area this covered was about 6 by 4 feet.
Played with some fruit here.Pomagranate and seeds are on the mirrow and blue is the reflection of the sky.That was fun to do and I had a snack in front om me when I got hungry:) Visit @ www.emmelephotography.com
Another reflection off of a flat surface with a little surprise. If you look closely under the main blast there is another small explosion/shock wave starting.
When I put the explosive on the top support it goes into a little brass cup. Sometimes some spills off the cup and lands on the surface below. This time a small chunk of the Ag2C was detonated by the explosion of the larger charge.
If I could control this I could make some nice patterns. I've read papers were researchers do exactly this by setting off small charges simultaneously by using a beam split YAG laser. the heat/shock from the laser sets off two small explosions at the almost exactly the same time.

Just another reflection. This house is located on the grounds of "Kasteel Rosendael" in Rozendaal.
I like it even more than the Castle located there...
It's been a long time since I have made a doll outfit! I had some spare time to do this dress and I am excited to post it!
I am pretty pleased with the turnout. This is just about the first doll outfit I have ever sewn using the sewing machine. The other outfits made with fabric were hand-sewn.
Now that I have learned how to sew, I will be doing more and more fabric outfits instead of knit and crochet.
I found this fabric on clearance at Walmart and it was rolled up, not revealing the circle design. When sifting through my fabric, I saw the navy fabric and had an idea for it (which I don't remember now) but then when I unrolled it I immediately thought up this idea. The dress is based off of a circle skirt pattern. I love the look of circle skirts and how they drape! I cut around the circles and embroidered the simple line details with metallic silver embroidery floss.
The back is closed with a snap.
I title this dress "Reflections" because it reflects the mistakes I make but learn from (there is a little screw up in the line embroidery in the back) and because it has that flowy water kind of feel to it because of the blues and black lines.
