On top the the harbour wall at Trefor,with a beautiful view in every direction you if you sit on them.
Looking towards penllyn Bridge 2 miles away,and there are a few swans there too.And the big rock face to the left of the photo was where workers from dinorwic quarry used to meet up as it wasn't on the slate quarry land.
The land belongs to Glynllifon estate.
. . . today's quest . . . shoot a Jesus bug (The family Gerridae contains insects commonly known as water striders, water bugs, magic bugs, pond skaters, skaters, skimmers, water scooters, water skaters, water skeeters, water skimmers, water or Jesus bugs) . . . elements required for "successful" shot - must include the bug, the bugs reflection AND the bugs shadow - ripples would be a bonus (not a requirement)!!! . . . not the best shot, but I was happy to catch all the required elements & the bonus . . . :^)

Swissôtel Chicago was designed by renowned Chicago architect, Harry Weese, who is perhaps best known as the designer and architect of the Metro system in Washington, D.C., and of the Time-Life Building in Chicago.[5]
The hotel is triangle-shaped, glass, and stands 45 floors, and 457.01 feet (139.30 m) tall, but 12 of them (Floors 32-43) are in rush hours (it means that in regular times it will be as high as floor 31), offering views of the city, the Chicago River, or Lake Michigan, depending on the side of the hotel.[6]
Unlike many hotels that place their swimming pools on the ground floor, and usually outside, Swissôtel Chicago offers an indoor, heated pool on the 42nd floor along with a fitness center, giving guests the opportunity to take in views of the city while exercising.[7]
The Aqua Tower is located at 225 North Columbus Drive, and is surrounded by high-rises. To capture views of nearby landmarks for Aqua's residents, Gang stretched its balconies outward by as much as 12 ft (3.7 m).The result is a building composed of irregularly shaped concrete floor slabs which lend the facade an undulating, sculptural quality.[2][13] Gang cites the striated limestone outcroppings that are a common topographic feature of the Great Lakes region as inspiration for these slabs.
The name 'Aqua' was assigned to the building by Magellan Development Group LLC. It fits the nautical theme of the other buildings in the Lake Shore East development, and is derived from the wave-like forms of the balconies; the tower's proximity to nearby Lake Michigan also influenced the name.[2] Concrete Superintendent Paul Treacy, was nominated as one of Engineering News-Record's (ENR) top 25 news makers of 2008 for the design and implementation of the exterior formwork to mold the undulating façade of the Aqua.[17]
Sustainability was an important factor in Aqua's design. Gang and her team refined the terrace extensions to maximize solar shading, and other sustainable features will include rainwater collection systems and energy-efficient lighting. The green roof on top of the tower base will be the largest in Chicago. The tower will seek LEED certification.[18]
