Reflections of my nephew & grand niece. Took this while we were out for a walk last weekend. Beautiful and "HOT" day here in NC!! So I'm heading out to do some shooting....hope everyone has a great day!!
Walking home just after sunset, hadn't planned to be that late so didn't bring the tripod, improvised some low-light shots sitting camera on the edge of the bridge over the canal to steady it for timer shots
In the mirrored walls of Düsseldorf-Wehrhahn station, the journey becomes an echo. The man is absent, yet his reflection climbs endlessly — a quiet reminder that sometimes what we see is only a shadow of what is.

In den Spiegelwänden der Station Düsseldorf-Wehrhahn wird die Fahrt zum Echo. Der Mann selbst fehlt, doch sein Spiegelbild steigt hinauf – eine stille Erinnerung daran, dass wir oft nur die Spiegelung dessen sehen, was wirklich ist.
Looking into water is like looking into a memory. It bends, it blurs, it surprises. What I see depends less on the surface and more on the way I stand before it. Maybe that’s what a reflection really is—not answers, but gentle reminders that I’m still becoming.

When I looked at the reflections in this half-frozen pond, I liked how the ice texture broke up the straight lines of the old fence and shed.
