Uhm, yes -- almost forgot the explanation. This is a tiny part of a glass, with a colourful Venetian carneval mask as the background. I used flash to let the carving have that 3D-look.
Majdnem elfelejtettem a magyarázatot. Ez egy üvegpohár kis része, ami mögé háttérnek egy színes velencei karneváli maszkot raktam, majd vaku segítségével kiemeltem az üveg csiszolását.
Yesterday I found out reflection of the moon on the river surface, and took this shot from the Sunset Bridge over the Manose River. The moon was almost full (14 days old), and the river was very calm at that moment. For the first time I realized that the moon was reflected on the water so brightly and clearly.
昨日の日没直後,吹上海浜公園のサンセットブリッジから月を眺めていたところ,川面に月が映っていることに気付きました.月がこんなに明るくはっきり水に映ることを初めて実感しました.
Since the number 808 is the same backwards, forwards and upside down, the theme for Down Under Challenge No. 808 is reflections. The number 808 is supposed to appear in the image, so I've included it here, though, because I didn't want to mess up the image, you'll have to look for it...

Made it out to the lake this week. Not many clouds on this night so I decided to play with the exposure and dynamic range on my new Sony A7RII. Also wanted to put my new 70-200 F4 G OSS lens to the test. A really sharp lens. I also remembered my "OFF" so I could keep the mosquitoes at bay.
