"The REDress Project, focuses around the issue of missing or murdered Aboriginal women across Canada. It is an installation art project based on an aesthetic response to this critical national issue. The project seeks to collect 600 red dresses by community donation that will later be installed in public spaces throughout Winnipeg and across Canada as a visual reminder of the staggering number of women who are no longer with us. Through the installation I hope to draw attention to the gendered and racialized nature of violent crimes against Aboriginal women and to evoke a presence through the marking of absence."
Kitty's redressed in Boulevard Chic outfit from 2005. I just love the micro-sequined turqoise fabric on the coat. Shoes are good, too, excatly like the ones from Cocoa Truffle outfit, only black. And being a great friend of everything with rhinestones, the earrings are much more to my taste than the golden ones Kitty doll came with.

I tried to tint the blue sweater green and it worked, until I looked at poor Fabiana's skin tone! The sweater stayed blue! Lol!

I think Giselle is my favorite FR doll from 2010 (so far). I think that her face is really expressive and I love the shade of her hair.
I wish I had more time to play with her, but she has had only one redress by now, this is a fashion by nomoir :)
Boneyard reimagined..
More from the 'cleaning out the folders' saga ... This was what I classed as a failed sunrise back in August 2018 - one of the 52' sunrises I did that year.
The original edits for these were less than I'd hoped for as I see them now ... from back in the time when I used graduated ND filters like there was no tommorrow, looks as if I'd used a 0.9 grad ND and the top 2/3 of these was super dark. I 'had' kept the sky under control, at the cost of the rest of the image.
There is plenty of dynamic range on the K1 and I've newer tools these days so for no reason other than a need to redress here they are.. nothing special .. just 'done' :-)

34072 '257 Squadron' has been redressed to represent long lost classmate 34066 'Spitfire'.
34066 hauled the RCTS/LCGB "Sussex Downsman" railtour on the 22-3-1964. Southern Locomotives Ltd very kindly agreed to the temporary change to help recreate the event 60 years on. Image from Leamlands, near Groombridge. Photo manipulated with three additional coaches added to train.

Just a quick redress for my J-Wing, to shift it to traditional Y-Wing colours and accommodate a BB astromech (really do hope we get more of those at some point).

I deboxed the Kelly and Tommy Alice and Wonderland Mattel and redressed another Tommy in an Easter Bunny costume. To make this diorama, I collected a number of Kelly chairs and Re-ment sets. I used party tooth picks as lanterns, and attached bunches of silk leaves to real tree branches. I made the signs as well.
I prefer her in this light colored gown instead of her robe noir.

I have many photos taken from Riverside towards the railway bridge, none in the other direction. So I thought I'd take the opportunity of a train trip to Scotland in the snow to redress the balance. iPhone shot processed with Snapseed.

I redressed these dolls independently of each other and later I noticed that they match so I decided to take them for a photoshoot together... 😊
