Trips to see the puffins on Skomer Island have become such a regular feature of my year, and I have so many photos taken there but this has to be one of my all time favourites.
For me the blurred fore and backgrounds really make the puffin stand out and even if I say so myself, the depth of field is just perfect.

Back in 2014 when I travelled through New Zealand one of my last stops was this wonderful beach at the south islands east coast. Those Moeraki Boulders really look like Dinosaur eggs. I had some beautiful light that morning, one of the best of my NZ trip.

We staked out our shooting location from 10am (event started at 7pm) to make sure we got the prime position - was a looooooong day, but worth it in the end.

The Shrine of Remembrance, located in St Kilda Road, Melbourne, is one of the largest war memorials in Australia, and resides in Kings Domain. It was built as a memorial to the men and women of Victoria who served in World War I. It now serves as a memorial for all Australians who served in war and it is the site of annual observances of ANZAC Day (25 April) and Remembrance Day (11 November).
Designed by architects and veterans of World War I, Phillip Hudson and James Wardrop, the Shrine is designed in a classical style, being based on the Tomb of Mausolus at Halicarnassus and the Parthenon in Athens.
