"Crowning Instruction" is about the beauty of submission — and the violence hidden inside it. The red wax isn’t blood. Not technically. But it marks her all the same. She did not cry. She did not speak. But she was chosen.

This is what happens when a person becomes sacred not by choice, but by designation. When devotion is a disguise for silence. The crown is melted onto her. And she carries it as if she asked for it.

This is a portrait of elegance under control. Of obedience dressed as ritual.

“All the Daughters Left Behind” was born from the idea that houses remember. And sometimes, they rot from the insidenot from mold, but from memory. The staircase is not a path upward, but a procession site. Each red mass on the steps is a silence, a story, a woman who was told to be quiet until she disappeared into wallpaper.

The figure walks not toward freedom but toward witness. She is not mourning them. She is them.

The light isn’t holy. It’s exposure. And in that light, the truth becomes impossible to ignore.

“The Threshold Knows No Saints” is a meditation on liminal spaces: those blackened corridors between what was survived and what is still unknown. Here, the figure steps not into light, but into ambiguity. The red fragments shrouds, spirits, past selves drift upward, caught between release and return.

This piece does not promise transformation. It offers only motion. I wanted the viewer to feel that quiet unease that happens right after the storm breaks—when it’s unclear whether it’s over, or only just begun.

The terrain is not earth. It is memory. And memory has no saints.
