Thank you very much for your kind comments and visit, much appreciated!
they are all made of recycled newspaper. The technique is to create straws with the sheets of paper that will be the basis of the weave.
Have you ever thought about how many tons of paper are used and end up in the bins, inexorably turning into waste? Only a small part is used to generate recycled paper.
Here, creative recycling is a way not only to help the environment personally, but to raise awareness among others on the importance of reducing waste and consumption.

I had to share this with you, our garbage/rubbish yard collectors have a sense of humour! Our garbage cans stick together when stacked normally, so we have a sign "Do Not Stack". It worked. You have got to love it! :-)
Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! xo❤️

Hooded vultures taken in Masai Mara, Kenya. International Vulture Awareness Day, 3rd September 2022.
It is suspected that this species is currently undergoing an extremely rapid population reduction owing to indiscriminate poisoning, trade for traditional medicine, hunting for food, persecution and electrocution, as well as habitat loss and degradation.
Wildlife poachers sometimes poison vultures because their presence in the skies near animal corpses can alert rangers to their illegal activities.
Because many species of vultures are social, vultures are highly affected by poisoning.
Over a hundred birds can be killed at just one poisoned carcass.
Vultures are the ultimate recyclers. They can strip a carcass in just a few hours.
They keep our environment clean and disease-free.
Many thanks for your visit, comments, invites and faves..it is always appreciated..

For 120 pictures in 2020 #111 "Upcycled", This garden ornament is made from recycled scrap metal. It is fairly old and in desperate need of repainting, but it still stands ready to remove garden pests from our plants (this is an aloe vera our neighbor gave us - still need to make a proper garden plot for it).
