The son, recovering from successful surgery, is still groggy and not so sure why his mother appears so happy.
My dad took this using his cell phone in the hospital about two hours after I got out of surgery in November. I need this shot for a blog entry soon, so I had to upload it here. Unfortunately, this surgery didn't go entirely smoothly, so round two is coming up in a few weeks.
I've postponed this next surgery for about a month already just because things are crazy at work, but I'm really anxious to get it done and over with so I can finally put the events of November behind me forever.
It's going to put me off my feet and stuck at home for at least a week, but if anyone is in my neighbourhood, the wine rack is always full, and the nachos are only ten minutes away..
