On September 3rd, 2020 the NCO Leadership Center of Excellence recognized four civilian cadre for their excellent service to the U.S. Army mission.

FORT BRAGG, N.C. (Sept. 16, 2015) - Maj. Gen. Jimmie Jaye Wells, chief of staff, U.S. Army Forces Command, recognized several civilian staff members for their years of service to the federal government; ranging from 20 to 40 years. Maj. Gen. Wells presented a certificate denoting the milestone in years that each has surpassed. Maj. Gen. Wells emphasized the importance of civilian service to the Total Army Force. Senegal has been recognized as a leader in the fight against malnutrition in Africa. Between 2000 and 2016 Senegal reduced undernutrition by 56%. This significant progress shows that by elevating nutrition to a top political priority and coordinating a coherent agenda across government and with external partners, the fight against malnutrition can be won.

Recognizing the senior varsity players

Virginia National Guard Family Programs presents awards and certificates of appreciation to their volunteers during the State Volunteer Recognition Workshop Aug. 6, 2023, in Williamsburg, Virginia. Brig. Gen. Doyle Gillis, the VNG’s Assistant Adjutant General for Army Strategic Initiatives, was on hand to thank volunteers from across the state for their continued support. Among the awardees were April Fisher, who received the Gold Award in recognition for her long-term volunteering efforts; Rebekah McClung, who received the Soldier and Family Readiness Group Volunteer of the Year Award for her continued contributions to family readiness; and Brittney Lynde, who received the Soldier and Family Readiness Group Volunteer Rookie of the Year Award.
