The City of Laredo Mayor, Dr. Victor Treviño, and members of the City Council presented various certificates of recognition on Monday, May 15, 2023, to individuals that have represented Laredo in several fields and have succeeded in competitions, while being an example of integrity, discipline, and commitment. The City of Laredo is pleased to continue presenting these recognitions in honor of the achievements of locals who represent this town through their professional careers or extracurricular activities.

On Wednesday, May 30 a carnival-themed Magnet Redesignation Education Party was held at Children's Hospital Los Angeles to educate staff in a fun way about Magnet Recognition.
