A procession of people walk through a somber, Orwellian tunnel, each figure draped in the uniformity of the oppressed. To me this image hints at society’s collective plight, a population brainwashed and subdued by a dystopian regime. Yet, the glimmer of light ahead signifies a glimmer of hope..

Sony A7iii (aperture priority AF). Overall, my experimenting with AF has produced mixed results. For quick shots AF is helpful. However, when you have time to compose your shot, manual focusing is infinitely better. Anyway. I had a short talk with this lady. She was eager to leave the footpath and walk on the road in order to get to the bus stop. She finds walking very difficult, in particular managing the kerbs that frequently interrupt the footpath. Why do cars get the privilege of running on a smooth and uninterrupted surface whilst pedestrians have to climb up and down the kerbs? And off she went, on the tarmac braving the cars.
I have passed by this little cabin many times over the past forty years. It stands beside the Alaska Highway, and is slowly being reclaimed by mother nature. Many years have passed since those who once called it "home," abandoned it. There are so many cabins like this in Alaska, and they all look rather forlorn, as they stand silent and alone. I try my best to capture them before they fall, and are lost from sight forever.

16th September 2014 - Construction work on the new dock wall that will become Liverpool 2 deep sea container terminal attracting some of the biggest container ships in the world.
I really liked the way Anglesea Barracks seemed to be slowly being reclaimed by nature! The only other visit i'd managed to Dinorwic on my wales trip bar the Pea Soup morning was a mid afternoon visit with my family where we walked from the slate museum up the quarryman's trail to here. They will always give me about 20mins before they start to get bored so I had to work fast. I got the classic shot and then as I was climbing down seen this. I could not get a tripod position but managed to use it more like a monopod to get this. Something a bit different I was pleased with.
66075 near Llangewydd with the 6B08 09.17 Margam to Newport Docks steel coils. The abandoned farm is nearly overgrown completely.

Aimless shooting this evening lead me to the macro eye shot. Into PS and trawled my texture folder until I found something I was happy with.
I did make a couple of others where I filled in my pupil but I settled on this in the end.
A shot of a tree with gnarly vines strangling it overlaid first followed by an upwards pov taken some weeks ago of the trees at Bolehill quarry with the starry sky above.
This is number 111 of my 366.
