The "Desperate Housewifes" cookbook was a Christmas present :))

The "Tête-à-Tête" pot just had to share a windowsill with Bree, Gabrielle, Susan and Lynette. Edie is in there too, although she's not really the "Tête-à-Tête" type...

it will be a white Christmas for us this year! after the snow storm we had it will take little while for all the snow to melt:)

Tonight we eat our traditional Czech dinner which consists of potato salad and some chicken shnitzels (should be fried carp, but I hate that fist and never ate it since I was little) and we'll have some delicious deserts - my grandmothers recepies... (check my previous photo)... we will also open our gifts this evening....

thanks to the beauty of the Skype, we will be having lunch as my family will be having dinner and will be together that way! I am so excited... we havent had christmas together in about 8 years!

Recepy: rose, light, macro lens, geometry

I was playing with food photography and desided to start from the raw food recepies that I like and use (not very often) in my life. The first one is bread from the sunflower raw seeds with tomatoes, unions, a bit of salt and ginger and decorated with mushrooms. Blended and dehydrated at 40 degrees for about 12 hours.

I was so much excited about the taste of roses that I decided to cook something out of it. One of the recepies I wound had 2 ingredients I really love: white chocolte and roses, so here is what came out of it. :) Taste is just as great as you might imagine, I had hard time not to eat all of those as I made pics

with so much more time to spend home, i'm about to try out new recepies.

today: whole grain pasta with green peas and poached egg.

Today as was cooking this idea came up to my head, for this recepy you need garlic ,a large onion ,900 gram zucchini 2 cans of Tunafisch, a swarm chili;s and creme fraiche

first bruise the chili's and cook them in oliveoil, add the onions fry the onions and then add the zucchini and cook it until it is tender , then you add the tunafisch and cook

it for about 2-5 minutes then press the garlic and add the vreme fraiche and mix it well ,

finally we add the Nudeln and mix them trough the souce ... then let it stay for at least six hours to let the taste of the garlic and chili's enter your meal .

Tag 18 ,a ls ich Heute das Essen zubereiten wollte ist die Idee entstanden . für dieses Gericht brauch Mann , eine Knolle Knoblauch , ein großer Zwiebel ,Ca 900 Gramm Zucchini 2 Dosen Thunfischfilet , ein Schwarm von Chili schoten (je nach belieben) Die Chilischoten prellen und in Olivenöl backen , die geschnittene Zwiebeln Kurz anbraten und die Zucchini dazugenen bis die weich gekocht ist ,Thunfisch dazugeben und anbraten , der Koblauch pressen und zusammen mit der Creme Fraiche gut vermischen . Als letzte die Nudeln durch die Sauce mischen und gut 6 Stunden stehen lassen damit der Geschmack von den Chilischoten und Knoblauch gut ins Essen ziehen können

I used pure Paracetamol which is even cheaper than painkiller tablets (<10$/100g) .

I noticed that there is something wrong with the recepy:

Paracetamol is not soluble in PH neutral water (see also Wikipedia).

If you grind tablets and add water, then filter it, you will filter most of the Paracetamol out again.

It does dissolve quickly in a lye, so if you dissolve the NaOH first, then add the Sulfie, the Paracetamol will dissolve completely in an instant and you can fill it into 5ml containers for storage immediately.

I ran a test on a roll of old, bad Shanghai GP3 (where the markings of the backing paper transfer onto the emulsion.

It came out a little high in contrast, otherwise as good as this film can do. Also the focus and transport of my restored Yashica D seems fine.

It seems like all I am making lately are last minute cakes! I wish I had time to work on the details (like the eyes, that needed some more work to look real).

This was quite big, actually. Four recepies big.

The angle of the photo makes the face look puffy on one side... But at least it shows I got the black mask to shine, a trick I learned on Flickr from a Debbiedoescakes cake discussion.

For the crust:

 

100 gr of whole grain wheat flour

100 gr of plain, white flour

50 gr of roasted hazelnuts

40 gr of soy butter

30 gr of brown sugar

A pinch of baking soda

Some lukewarm water

+ fine oatmeal before you put the filling in

 

For the filling:

 

About 20 small plums cut in half

3 – 4 spoons of malt

1 spoon of allspice, cloves and nutmeg

A pinch of cinnamon
