The Great Dividing Rangei is Australia's most substantial mountain range and the fifth longest land-based range in the world. It stretches more than 3,500 kilometres (2,175 mi) from the northeastern tip of Queensland, running the entire length of the eastern coastline through New South Wales and then Victoria. Its mountains are small compared to those in many other parts of the world.
This was taken from the air in the early morning near Paluma about 80 km northwest of Townsville, Queensland, Australia. It is on the eastern edge of the Great Dividing range which receives high rainfall. The vegetation here consists of rainforest and tall Eucalypt forests. The sky is hazy from smoke.
The rock type is granite. The area is quite rugged with deep gorges.

Cancellations due to COVID19 allowed the opportunity to reserve and stay on short notice at lodges within several National Parks. These lodges (i.e., including Yosemite and Crater Lake) are generally impossible to reserve otherwise. The parks were fairly empty. My wife were walking back with dinner to our room when I noticed this magnificent sight. The falls were the first sight as we walked in and out of our room. The view was always impressive. However, the diminishing light minutes before sunset added a touch of mystery to this natural wonder.
BTW, I wanted to take the opportunity to inform everyone that Flickr is no longer sending notifications to Yahoo mail accounts. I only receive notices regarding promotions by Flickr. As a result, it is impossible to track and reciprocate all Faves. Sorry about that and stay healthy!

This is a wetland on my brother's farm in the southern Riverina of NSW. Every year he receives an allocation of environmental water to replicate natural flooding. The wildlife that appears is wonderful and every night I was there we were serenaded by a chorus of frogs. Moments before I took this there were several Moorhens on the water but they were a bit camera shy unfortunately.
Vsiting villages in the mountains we saw many trees with pomegranates. The juice will be cooked for 5 hours and you receive a thick balsamico with light sweet touch.named - nar ekΕisi.

Which is greater? To give to someone dear or in need or to feel so grateful to have received a gift of beauty. The gift neednβt be an object of material value. It may be a deed given from one to another. It could be information or advice. Kindness comes is given and received all the time. A bouquet of Roses or a single Rose doesnβt matter. The gesture given is endearing and the feeling of receiving any such thoughtfulness is a moving experience we feel. When either happens, the giving of ourselves in any way means thereβs a warmth that comes over us. Likewise being the recipient of kindness of any kind warms us knowing we are thought of and cared for. Always the same is true. βTo Give Or Receive Beautyβ and what it does to us is an enriching and rewarding part of the human experience. Thanks for viewing my work.

The latest reinforcement of BDZ PP - Smartron 80 037 "Khan Kardam" pulls train 1611 (Sofia - Svilengrad) shortly before Kazichene station. This is the 3-rd out of 15 Siemens Smartron locomotives, which BDZ PP purchased in 2020 and will receive during 2021.
NS 1068 is in charge of the Formosa Plastics manifest, MEWFO 04, seen dragging out of Englewood Yard down the Strang Sub. The train would pull down to Tower 86 to receive its outbound crew.
After shooting UP 1982 leading in Spring, I quickly made my way back into the terminal to see if I could get anything of this train. With afternoon shadows taking over, the only decent place I could find was here at the Market St. crossing in the Fifth Ward. Nonetheless, two back-to-back heritage leaders ain't too shabby; bonus points here with fresh UP 7270 trailing.
This C-118 receives attention at Rhein-Main Air Base, Frankfurt, West Germany. Three C-47s, one with engines running, are also parked close by.
51-3823 was later based at Wiesbaden with C Flight of the 7405th Support Squadron and for a number of months in 1965 wore the false tail number 13842. It has been speculated that this was for certain CIA support operations.
