Maybe you also take a look at part 3, that is about further kinds of arguments, namely: induction and abduction
Not NLP or some other kind of manipulative rhetoric, but rational arguing.
Fabio Keiner accuses me (without giving any proof!), to have deletet his comment. Therefore this demonstration to show that I did not delete the comments.
A sincere exchange of views, opinions, ideas, thoughts is only possible when having arguments based on evidence and when the drawn conclusions are logical consistent. Defamation, abusive language, false accusations, illogical conclusions, flawed reasoning are thwarting communication.

"It is easy to conquer anger through love, attachment through reasoning, falsehood through truth, bad thoughts through good and greed through charity." - {Sri Sathya Sai Baba}
Clinchfield No.800 crosses Pool Point with a CSX Santa Train in tow as the rising sun illuminates the early morning clouds near the Kentucky/Virginia border. While most of my non-railfan friends, coworkers and family (Dad excluded) wonder why I drive all night to far away parts of the country sometimes without sleep to shoot pictures of trains, I find it hard to explain my reasoning other than it's my hobby and I enjoy it. However there are times I know without question, and seeing former Clinchfield 800 pull out of Pool Point Tunnel onto the famous bridge reminded me that it's these moments that make me come back time an again.
I've given up a lot, these last six months or so, for you two. Two people with the same horrible problem, but one caliban's anger at not being able to see his face in the glass, the other his anger at seeing it. Hours of talking, reasoning, having to keep the secrets I tried to persuade you needed telling. I couldn't risk losing your trust because, even from the most selfish perspective, how could I possibly live with myself had I not been there and the worst had happened? But I hated and I hate that I alienated people staying close to you. Now you're both no longer so critically terrifying, you've found methods for dealing with things, and I know it's not such a risk to go days without talking. It's a relief, and I am so happy for your signs of contentedness, but I've been left lost. I've forgotten who I was before I had to deal with this. And, much as things are looking up, the time I lost and the mistakes I made can't be undone. That's what I've been trying to say for a while. Yet, I know I haven't really explained anything at all. Sorry.
Probably the only person I know who won't be grossed out by a photo of a "non-pet" mouse ---- this one's for you Dawn! And no, that is not snow, but a piece of bread (God only knows where he found it!) that this little intruder was trying desperately to get through this mouse hole far under my sink.
Nobody can understand why I don't set traps or poison because YES, there are mice living in my walls.
Here's my reasoning why I don't:
1.) I really can't purposely kill a wild creature
2.) It's a hopeless cause; even if I did get rid of them, there are many more that would come inside, especially when it's only 12F (-11C) outside, like right now.
3.) They are field mice & although they are a nuisance, I don't think they carry any "city" diseases.
4.) They don't actually come INTO the living areas --- ya right!!
5.) They are cute -- several years ago, I had 8 babies get caught in the bottom of an almost empty dog food bin in the storage area, and if you had ever seen 8 tiny faces looking up at you begging for mercy, even the most squeamish person would not have done anything but what I did --- take them far up the lane, and let them go. (The next morning there were 5 more baby mice, but my son said they just followed me home, because they knew I was a soft touch)
Today I was banned from the deleteme group. I'm not sure what evil thing it was that I did but apparently I did something to piss someone off. I have to say I haven't been all that active in the room.
The last activity I had was to write this photo critique for my friend sfbuckaroo on his fine photo below:
www.flickr.com/photos/sfbuckaroo/39028582/
I'm not sure what they found so offensive about my critique but I have consistently left only the most professional and some of the finest critiques in their group. My critique on sfbuckaroos fine photograph was as follows:
"Wonderful blues. Perfect balance. An eerie feel to this photo compounded by the fact that the station is empty. Works exceptionally well. One of the best Muni shots I've ever seen. Hidden perspective that draws you in. Fine work indeed. Someone missed a tag.
saveme7"
That was three weeks ago. Since then I haven't been involved much.
I think it's unfair that I've been banned. Perhaps their reasoning was that already 8 photos of mine had made it through their critique process to their "safe" and they felt threatened by my photographs. Perhaps it was because weeks ago a few of us started our own deleteme uncensored group and they feel threatend by another game:
www.flickr.com/groups/deletemeuncensored/
Although some of us quite a long time ago used to banter about in the threads and were asked to quiet down, I have been nothing but respectful and have had no involvement in their threads at all since being asked not to express myself there any longer.
Because I'm no longer a member there I cannot even inquire as to why I've been banned. I consistently played by the rules, consistently submitted fine photography to their group and consistently wrote quality critiques.
I've read that some of the long time members of deleteme have recently been leaving their group. I can see why. This kind of unreasonable administrative response puts a chill in the air. I am glad that a few of us have deleteme uncensored as an alternative and as a place where one need not worry about retribution for their photography.
Unfair. It's too bad really.
Won't you join us at deleteme uncensored?
At the time of the synaxis (gathering), when the spirit of despondency attacks you, he suggests to your soul that psalmody is wearisome, and with the greatest zeal he hurls reluctance as an opponent to zeal, so that the soul in a great hurry hands the flesh over to the memory that it is exhausted for some reason or other. When we keep vigil at night, therefore, let us not surrender the synaxis to despondency, lest the demons who stand around collect the weeds of thought and sow them at once in the heart. For when we destroy the collection of hymns, then we gather together the collection of thoughts.

I've been my debating returning to this Flickr account, because I despise everything about it. I've grown and matured quite a bit since I first made this account. I also believe I've progressed as a photographer. I recently moved to Georgia in November. I'm still adjusting to so much change but I plan to make something positive out of it. I always remember my reasoning for this account from the beginning. Not for views, not for "acclaimed fame", but why else then simply because it's something I enjoy doing. The wonderful people I've met is just a bonus that's makes it even more worth while. I understand the idea of leaving everything behind after this year has come to end. I haven't decided what I plan to do yet. I'm just going to carry on and make the most of it. I hope this turns out to be a good year for everyone. Thanks and Love.

As true as possible to the conditions of the day
a deluge of emotion raining down the Tor
oblique, occasionally obscured, the mind at play
tricks of the Spring trading in it's warmth for
the changes we lavish with stats to get our way
now all forgotten, open to the Sanctus winds in store
following a fatherly lead progress really is made
undestroyed memories pass like high-speed windows
of the train that doesn't stop at my station frayed
for this is already the journey of never ending shadows
images of bygone fellows burrow the mind and invade
now up this timeless path to the frenzy of misted narrows
what cannot be true engages the senses out of wedlock
refined living and celebate myths rise ever-more steeper
the stories of others battles it's way into a souvenir woodblock
highlighted by stove-light to illuminate the diary keeper
visions past play before the Tor to this windswept flock
as if the rich strain of today's forebearance could possibly be any deeper
the howls and hoots of weathering beyond the graves
whistles past me like a snapshot of reanimate comfort
what joy it brings over these dark momentary waves
now there's no time for any time-sickness's discomfort
as time itself forever marches with no conscience of how it behaves
for such defined reasoning of this moment is left to the scale of Beaufort!
now it's done, the weather leaves no cadre unturned, so to speak
just the cacti touch of presage-driven rain into this speed camera record
of all we have done upon the humbling trail of ancestral antique
thus it becomes ever clearer, staggering up the hill of reverence restored
for every monument on the surface has inner revelations unique
and that's for us to decipher, for it's this elemental grounding we walk toward.

From a distance, I thought this bird was trapped and had drowned when the tide came in. He/she stayed in this head-on-the-water position for at least 15 minutes. As I got closer it became apparent that only the beak was in the water. It never did more than wiggle its beak then entire time I was watching. Seems like an odd way to find prey.
As and aside, I would love to titled this "Pi R Squared" in symbols., i.e. π r 2 except flickr doesn't support superscripts, even when copied from MS Word. If anyone knows how, please let me know!
Thank you, Mary and Patricia for help with π r² !!

I considered this photo for macro mondays. My reasoning was that even though I've had my skin for nearly three quarters of a century I only get to use it once.
Quite out of the blue a new baby for the madder family arrives! After three truly Mediterranean days in Edinburgh it was back to cooler temperatures, and a sea fog with some drizzle, ushering in the month of October.
Not a day you might say to be out with the camera but when my friend James Pringle called me up and said "I've just seen Dart 85 in madder on the 21" I had to ask "are you sure James?" In the company of Dr. Anderson of Edinburgh University I didn't really feel like doing any bus work as the drizzle was beckoning more strongly. I did though ask James where the Dart was and worked out it would arrive at Clermiston within the half hour from where we were situated.
Dr. Anderson suggested we go hunting and, never one to require much encouragement for this sort of thing, I nibbled at the bait and off we went. After all, how could I miss an opportunity to see another of my all-time favourite buses - and with a new coat of paint too?
So here we are back at one of my favourite haunts, Clermiston terminus (though not a terminus for the 21) high up alongside Corstorphine woods in the north-west of the city.
Marine based Dennis Dart SLF, Plaxton Pointer SPD number 85 (SK52 OKF) enjoys some attention as Dr. Anderson boards the bus (and taking a little more time to pay than usual!) while I managed to capture two shots in the misty atmosphere of an autumnal day.
It is thought the reasoning behind the repaint of this Dennis Dart is owing to possible accident damage and so 85 joins the other Darts in weinrot und weis 'classic' livery 60, 185 and 189.

Yesterday we will be launching rockets at the Snow Ranch in California's Central Valley, East of Stockton. One highlight is launching a high-power piñata rocket that rains candy out of the sky. Here you see kids run after the candy, after they got the go-ahead from the master.
Lets talk psychology. I use this photos as an example to explain the state and stages of "flow", also known as "zone". Flow is a state of the mind that amplifies creativity and productivity five-fold. Jazz musicians can improvise on the spot when in the flow, programmers can be 10-fold productive when in the flow, snow boarders can jump 250 feet when in the flow.
There are four stages of flow:
1. Struggling phase: You are frustrated learning new stuff, or challenged before doing something new.
==> This is the first photo in the comment. The master briefs the kids on safety and to wait for the go-head.
2. Release phase: Sub-conscious processing, which is a lot faster than thinking and reasoning.
===> This is the cover photo. The kids are running after the candy.
3. Flow phase: You are extremely productive, you are convinced you can do anything.
===> This is the second photo in the comment. The master examines the piñata rocket after launch, all good, "I can do anything".
4. Recovery phase: You need to relax after the flow phase because a lot of energy is consumed. Nobody can live in flow for extended time. Stages of flow can be repeated, but recovery is essential.
===> This is the third photo in the comment. The master walks back to the camp, all relaxed.
I learned about the flow from a talk by Steven Kotler. If you want to learn more about the flow, read the book "Abundance: The Future Is Better Than You Think" by Peter Diamandis and Steven Kotler.

I've been a flickr user since 2010. This is my 726th photo. I'm here because I like to share my work and experience the work of others, to basically get and stay inspired about photography. Eventually I will reach 1000 photos. Capping the "Free" accounts and offering a reasonable "Pro" plan makes sense but for me there will be no justifiable reason to pay for $50 per year for a "Pro" account. I simply don't need it. I would gladly pay $20 per year to remain a "social" user and a limit of 5000k photos would be more than enough. I believe in paying for what you use (by monetary means, favors or whatever). It helps people appreciate and maintain what they have invested in and keep exchanges alive, but this reasoning does not seem possible on the internet nowadays (my guess is, 'pay for what you use' is not a viable "business model" for boards and shareholders who only want to talk profit margins and bonuses). Unless Flickr offers a budget plan for social users, this account will stop at 1000 photos. My guess is, there are many other users in similar positions, some more engaged in the community aspect, some less, but not offering options to an active user base can have serious consequences. There is a risk that as the social aspect of the service declines and the communities dry up, so will the overall user base. And when that happens, we all know what follows... This is not only about Flickr. I also feel I'm paying too much for a bloated web hosting service I cannot fully use and for Vimeo and Soundcloud who keep begging me to "upgrade" even as a regular paying customer. Word has it that these and other
"popular" services have been in decline for some time and are at risk of going under, most likely for the same reasons, breaching the trust of their users for ulterior motives. I'll stop here for now, but if anyone can sympathize with what I'm saying, let me know your thoughts. The last resort will be to alert the captain before we abandon ship...

From my blog (oldlenses.blogspot.ca/2015/10/signs-that-you-are-addicted...):
G.A.S = Gear Acquisition Syndrome. A disease that affects mostly men. It infects the central reasoning area of the brain and makes men vulnerable into thinking more gear make them better photographers, and thus buying gear that they don't need. There is no known cure, but there is a silver lining; some men are able to recover as the photographs they make shift from pictures of cameras, lenses, brick walls, and resolution charts to other form of pictures.

Every time you see a red band, or gold band, it reminds you of your favourite lens
You are a Pentaxian, and you know the word "Limited" is not a disadvantage
You have been buying K-Mount lenses for the last ten years, because you believe one day, there will be a full frame Pentax camera, like you believe in Santa Claus
You get excited when you hear words like Holly Trinity, Magic Drainpipe, The Dust Pump, Sigmarit, and you know exactly what they refer to
You use Ikea shelves to store your cameras/lenses because you can't afford better shelves since you spent all your money on cameras/lenses
Decimal numbers like 0.95, 1.0, 1.2, 1.4 bring tears to your eyes

You made penholders out of broken lenses
You have a box you call treasure that's full of parts from dismantled cameras and lenses.
You hope that you can use them to repair lenses/cameras, but deep down you know that will never happen because that's why they became parts in the first place.
You use a stack of filter rings in place of a hood
You have a dozen rolls of exposed film in the drawer from 1998, but never developed
You get bored of the auto focus lenses you spent tens of thousands of dollar buying, and are having a blast with a $20 enlarging lens taking pictures of your AF lenses

You love pictures in RAW, and hate those cooked in jpeg
You have thousands of tiny screws harvested from dead cameras/lenses
Shasta daisy from my garden.
Way back in June I was mucking about on the iPaddle (as one does) playing with the distortion filters in Affinity. I probably should have been doing something more constructive but, hey-ho, life is too short.
So this is a set based around a flower pic. I chose it as a starting point because it’s a high-contrast image with oodles of radial symmetry, and I thought it would show up the distortion effects. (A slippery deceit of course as I conveniently invented the reasoning for my chaotic creative meandering after the fact - I suggest you never believe the fallacy that I really know what I am doing! :) ).
I’ll cover the processing notes for all the variants and replicate the commentary so you only need read it once (if at all, lol).
I’ll post a link to the in-camera original in the first comment.
Edit 1 - Colour
A plain colour version, then given a harsh gritty feel by duplicating the image and blending back probably with hard light (though I am not entirely sure).
Edit 2 - Plain B&W
The colour version converted to B&W. Bilateral blur (an edge-preserving blur which effectively smoothes out the petals. Glow filter … for a bit of glow (though te be honest I think it’s a bit of a misnomer) :)
Edit 3 - Twirl
Starting with the plain B&W version, added twirl in the centre and also a radial blur. Blended the original back to the twirly version with Soft Light.
Edit 4 - Shasttered
This used the Diffuse distortion filter (not the Diffuse Light filter) to create the diffusion look, starting with the plain monochrome version. Tweaked that a bit and then took the original B&W version and blended it back with the Subtract mode. This overprinted the diffuse look with an inverted version of the original.
I really like this effect - it reminded me of splatter painting in my young days (back in the caves in France ;) ). Or perhaps printing with a flower using black paper and white ink…
For Sliders Sunday. I’ll also put the three B&W versions into the 100x challenge as I am rather behind (as life around me doesn’t seem to pause for long enough).
Thank you for taking the time to look. I hope you enjoy the images. Happy Sliders Sunday and 100x!
[Handheld in daylight.

On Thanksgiving Day, I rolled out of bed in the wee hours to make the trek up to Castle Lake in hopes of recreating the shot I took last Thanksgiving (see pic in comments), under better conditions this time. To my dismay, part of the uphill trail was covered in snow and frozen over. Not expecting this and with no crampons handy, the part of my brain that still made somewhat sound decisions trumped the photographer illogical reasonings, and thus I turned back. It wasn't until the next day when I returned to the trail under daylight that I realized only about 50 feet of the path was frozen, and with some careful maneuvering, you could make your way up.
After backtracking, I headed over to Lake Siskiyou and sat alone waiting for sunrise. As the sky lit up, I counted my blessings.
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!
Descend atop soul sanity mask in madness
From above heaven whose eyes within see
Beyond shores existence laid me
Burying me in ere twain
Gusting world mine to world hers
Up on thoughts, string illusoriness
That separates’ from us you
And yet makes special, unique, different’ disease
Whereon shame appears to dearest
Nor disappears aloofness
Some trade life worthy not exchange
Which fates gift up on lowly
Fashioning life on path mystery
That rose on desert air rejoice in comparison
The streak life in death
In clamors unknown, made’ only my notice
That leaves muttering to yours lips
The bind ye little gods, with power over shoulders weakened
And in clatters picks paleness over beauty
Ignored the within, letting it wither perish
Conflicting thoughts, utterances
Listening fragile, mind busy
Above lamentations eyes blinks
Away freedom from shame, with wings vulnerability
And yet price expensive as sink into clumsy alienation
As trailing moving ants smiles rewinds reminds
Of remains memories, and of its blankness
Leaving in shores unwrapped, uncovered
Leaving not a cord of reasoning
Which, what I with heart half, ripped soul, aging body?
What not if empty not?
Like red rose tossing winds wild, with fragrance lost
Of blooming style, wearied and sucked of blood
Like it, my heart ends
Of trees heartbeat I hear,
Of leaves veins I feel
Towards stars, I see wires
And root neurons
When again the commune of breeze
Or the romantic touch of night sun
Or sight the noon star, the night rainbow
When again, lesser be all afore
Let it the voice heard in the herds bleat
Let it the voice noticed in bees buzzes, in chirping birds
With clouds whispering me before it pours
And road telling where it goes
Night revealing it journeys as day
With love gossiping of coming hatred, disgust
And deeds, of rewards, sows, of harvest
With door telling where it passes
And babies, who they be
Have not you the words spoken?
That still fetters my ankles keep
That still locked between walls I
That I prepare for fallen night,
With garments sleeps I as I journey
For dreams sometimes of mourn, often to merry
If this, mirror held sway as I slumbers lumber.
I the might not of madness but fondness
Trickle, tinkles seconds away flips
As curtains a close draw
With theme, plot, setting absent
For even life mystery webbed reality
Through overgrown state journeys eternal
Beneath wordless voice perceive
The whimpers, whispering souls
A worker common carder bumble bee (Bombus pascuorum) forages on a purple clover.
Bees collect a sugary juice called nectar from the blossom by sucking it out with their tongues. They store it in what's called their honey stomach, which is different from their food stomach. When they have a full load, they fly back to the hive.
Carder Bumblebees earn this name from their habit of combing material together (carding) to create a covering for the cells containing the larvae. This species usually creates its nests above ground, often in grass tussocks, in old mouse runs through grass, in tangles of vegetation or just under the surface of the soil.
Honeybees have defensive weapons at both ends of their bodies, Greek and French researchers have found: They can not only sting their enemies, as has long been known, but they can also bite them, injecting a venom that paralyzes invaders.
Do bees have a brain?
The bee brain only contains about a million neurons, while humans have about 100 billion. ... Somehow, bees are capable of complex reasoning and storing memories over miles and miles of flight, and recent research has begun to show that little bee brains might be the key to understanding our own.

My entire reasoning behind this outfit for Valentines Day was the birds all over my skirt :D (the first mentioning of Valentines Day is within Chaucer's Paliament of Fowls).
Story -
We return to our Wasteland Adventures having a night of pre war memories and anecdotes of their travels through the wasteland.
Zen's reasoning being, "finders keepers" not standing up in the court of, "I have a laser rifle pointed at your head", she had relinquished the desk fan.. for now. While talking to her fellow dwellers that only a few years ago were neighbours, they ended up reconnecting over nuka colas and 27 year old marshmallows. As the night went on the laughter got louder and the stories more bloated. In the pre -war they used to say: "you are only 6ft away from a rat". In the Wasteland, you are never that far from something that would like to eat you.. that goes for humans too.. Gidgy, Iris and Zen laughed onwards into the night unsuspecting of the attention they had attracted.

HAPPY FALLOUT DAY!
It is that time of year again, on this day in the Fallout universe the bombs dropped and of course that means another Fallout Day shoot! i be really happy how this one turned out. i did plan a massive set like last years but i just didn't have it in me. but this small camp fire idea won my heart and ended up being one of my favourite Fallout Day piccys done to date. A big thank you to Iris and Gidgy once again for posing for the piccy (and not shooting at me *giggles*)

Mushroomeo and Julily's love could not been more darkly forbidden if it invoked the name of every Elder Being from here to eternity. His goth metal obsession, biker gang affiliations, and surly attitude would have fostered apprehension in the minds of most parents, not to mention a pair of mellow and respectable water nymphs, but none of this even came into consideration. As a Myconid, Mushroomeo was barred from any contact with water nymphs due to a centuries-long feud everyone had forgotten the reasoning behind. Julily's parents' efforts to “protect” her in the name of this feud were as vain as trying to hold...well, water. When she by chance had the house to herself, she invited him over to watch Netflix and chill a little before they eloped on his questionably legal motorcycle. A rash decision surely, but the power of their passionate love burned to overcome all barriers of class and ancient hatred; it would be eternal, in life or deat-

This is part of a building game the tagged builders played for fun that is similar to Symphony of Construction , but uses captions rather than musical compositions for a more laid-back execution. This is the starter build.
The caption given by Ultron32 to this build inspired Robots painted the Aliens Motorcycle purple by Dead Frog Inc.
Nearly a year ago at Brickcon 2015, Grant Davis handed me a purple barrel and motorcycle shell and charged me with the task of integrating them both into one build. I think he wanted me to do something creative with them; put them to uses other than their intended purposes?
Obviously I had no recourse but to use them for their exact intended purposes!
The only church in England to be dedicated to Saint Eata, bishop of Hexham, can be found in the village. The reasoning behind the dedication is unclear. There is no written record suggesting that he ever came so far south. There is, however, a crop photograph from the 1970s of a field in Attingham Park showing the ground plan of a Saxon palace identical to one excavated near Hexham. "Atcham" is a contraction of "Attingham", meaning "the home of Eata's people". The church building dates back to the 11th century.
The ABC
Now the rain falls so impetuously, riches aplenty
it keeps us inside, releasing emotions sentimentally blocked
within each breath exhaled by the life-giving cognoscenti
for the inhalation of heartfelt wishes where the Soul is docked
annul the repudiated negativity, that divided entity
forever changing the gears of a-la-mode finicality
a centre-stage for the emotive high speed chasing grandevity
where nothing much has changed to alter one's hypersensitivity
why do we continually see the rebirth of reflected deathly imagination?
and a ghostly glow of adolescent reasoning and jiggery
overturning wisdom's long standing reverence as king-of-the-nation
creating this nom de plume society of ravishing a hidden lottery
it's easy to fall to one side without grasping the deeper mystique
coming undone in the maize of secret truths and nameless nicknames
one step can be a blot upon our landscaped garden growing oblique
unless we clean our feet and wipe the slate clean from para-claims
for the energy we reserve should not necessarily wait in queue
as our resource is identifiably within reach of each respiration
listen to yourself alone from the crowded nanny state keen to subdue
that driving inner passion resplendent in it's desirable temptation
it's not going to go away, never can it be suppressed by uniformity
nor ridiculed by anything with the assurance of veridicality
get the life and see the light of illuminating your vision's own worshipability
embrace the warmth and energy bestowed by the xantho-vitality
no answer is found without thumbing through the pages of you
no time no chance no single glance, but the essence of escaping the human zoo.

On the palgagic we came across what seemed to be two adults and a youngster and they really did put on a good show for us!
My very basic understanding of Latin tells me that 'Megaptera' means something along the lines of 'Giant wing', a very fitting name. If you know more, please do share! I enjoy the meanings and reasoning of Latin names given to animals.
Given that we were not looking for whales, it was a complete 'fluke' that we saw these guys!
(Please excuse the terrible joke, I just had to).
I don't really understand the reasoning behind making wild eyed comparisons as such (eg: Milk>Gas), but I do find amusement in extremes of absurdity..
The artist Eva Hild won the competition for the artistic design in the urban space located south of Malmö Live and facing the water of the canal. The sculpture "Rubato – free flow" alludes to a musical composition, where you can read movement, rhythm and sound (layer upon layer). The bubbles of the cavities play against the rhythmic structure of the walls. An improvisation and freedom within limits.
The competition jury's reasoning was as follows:
"The expression sweet music is often used to explain the inexplicably beautiful and beautiful. It is used for meetings between people and to express feelings. This artistic creation is inspired by the longing for and the feeling in the sweet music. The piece transforms the music into living soft forms that seem to be in constant motion as they wander inward, outward and upward. It gives the viewer free associations, new thoughts and dreamy images. "Rubato - free flow"; takes the place, catches your eye - and sweet music arises".
The sculpture is 6 meters high, 7 meters wide and 6 meters deep. It is made of cast aluminum and painted white.
Rubato was inaugurated on June 3, 2015.

"La expresión música dulce se utiliza a menudo para explicar lo inexplicablemente bello y bello. Se utiliza para encuentros entre personas y para expresar sentimientos. Esta creación artística está inspirada en el anhelo y el sentimiento de la dulce música. La pieza transforma la música en formas suaves y vivas que parecen estar en constante movimiento mientras vagan hacia adentro, afuera y hacia arriba. Sample of asbestiform actinolite ore from the United States. Common, non-asbestos actinolite mineral material often appears as green to dark green "non-asbestos" bladed crystals in peculiar "rays" of angular/radiating patterns; reasoning that its name is assigned from Greek: "aktinos" ("ray") + -ite. Generally, the more iron content, the deeper the color and more transition from the tremolitic mineral end-series and ferro-actinolite transition.
Legate Mark slowly leads his legion deeper and deeper into enemy territory.
One of Mark's tribunes Titus Labienus seemed anxious as to their speed.
"Legate Mark, are we not moving at to sluggish a pace to reach the city by nightfall?"
Mark smiled in his usual way.
"Surely you are not impatient, Labienus? You know as well as I that Lampsacus has no walls, Tylis fears its colonies may rebel and prevents them from building fortifications."
Labienus' forehead creased in perplexity.
"What has that to do with our pace of speed?"
Mark turned his head round to face his trusted lieutenant.
"Let me explain my reasoning. I doubt very much we will be given the opportunity to besiege the city itself. The citizens will obviously want to fight us in the most advantageous way possible. That cannot be done while sitting in a defenceless city while waiting for us to surround them. No, they will be coming out to intercept us. Ambushes and surprise attacks are not out of the question, therefore we should proceed with the greatest caution lest we be utterly destroyed."
Labienus raised his eyebrows.
"I now see the logic of a methodical march. Let us hope that the Tylisians are honorable in warfare and do not pounce from the shadows like the barbarians."
Mark felt a rush of exhilaration at the thought of impending battle.
"I have a feeling that they will be warriors of a different mettle my friend."

This photo shows Left vs. Right Brain dominance in people.
Top: Left Brained. People with left brain dominance are good with math, science, reasoning, and logic.
Bottom: Right Brained. People with right brain dominance tend to be more musical, artistic, creative, they like more chaos.
This is a huge mistake to think that man is a rational being. The power of reasoning does not give reason.
Cleo with her (okay, my) new pumpkin. I found this one at the pumpkin exhibition on Saturday and had to buy it because the shape reminded me of Cleo. They really look good together IMHO but I have the feeling that my chain of reasoning didn't convince Cleo completely.
If you read back through my previous shots you'll see the reasoning behind the numbering. Lesson learned here - its not just about what you include in the frame, its about what you leave out. Took agaes to get a comp that excluded the other boats moored off to the right.
As the ladies from the WI are strictly following the rules to stay at home during these abnormal times, they have been holding their meetings via a video online conferencing system which Hoof and Horace had designed and installed a few weeks back.
The first item on the agenda to be debated ’shock horror’ evidence had come to light of cheating at the recent botty coughing competition, which as you will all remember was held on the green outside the church hall back in January.
Reportage of the competition had been covered in detail during the upload of my shot ‘Let It Go’ 📡 😱https://www.flickr.com/photos/137633664@N05/49438540241/in/dateposted-public/
Clarrisa Penpillick who organised the botty coughing competition has been studying data recorded on the day.
She was acting on information picked up by sensors located around the church hall which had recorded, wind speeds, clarity, depth of tone, ferocity of each botty cough, plus the oder factor, we are not talking Coco Chanel, more an essence of Vindaloo.📘📕📖
These findings did indeed show discrepancies of the botty coughs let go by the winner Mrs Trebillcock compared to the rest of the contestants, especially the rate at which she could repeat each performance.💪💨💨💨
Another source of information were the audience who witnessed this cheeky event, especially Jago Nancarrow who had a ring side seat, and had recently retired as a lecturer at the institute of botty coughing who was of the opinion that Mrs Trebillcock could break wind faster than the speed of sound, he based this on the fact that he could smell it before he heard it.🚀
Therefore the committee needed to ask the question had Mrs Trebillcock taken a performance enhancing substance, or had she been born with some form of biological advantage, as an example being double jointed in her nether regions, not a pretty sight.
Mrs Trebillcock was duly summoned to appear on camera and confessed to the committee that during a training session in the build up to the botty coughing competition she had been showing off in front of Mrs Trebogus and had lit some of her botty coughs much to both of their amusement. However they had not carried out a risk assessment and subsequently Mrs Trebillcock suffered a blow back, which in turn had wrecked her passage, no you lot, the one leading to the hallway in her property.💨💨🔥🔥
After the fire brigade had extracted Mrs Trebillcock from her hallway, (Mrs T likes a man in uniform) she was taken for a check, or was it a cheek over at Madeleine Bokiddicks house.
Madeleine had recently retired from her job as a blacksmith and set up a little business of cosmetic enhancement for the discerning lady.🚒💦💦
Following an examination of Mrs Trebillcock’s undercarriage, Madeleine explained that she would require a procedure in the area that had been affected during the stunt which had amused Mrs Trebogus.
Mrs Trebillcock was very happy to proceed with this recommendation. 👵
Following the procedure Mrs Trebillcock found that she had this amazing ability to let go some supersonic botty coughs. Secretly she was quite chuffed with this new found party piece, however she felt the reasoning should be explained🎉🎉.💨💨
She phoned Madeleine, now bear in mind Mrs T is a bit Mutton Jeff (deaf) Madeline explained that due to flash over damage, the procedure had required the enhancement of some of your buttocks, Mrs T responded “I thought you said this procedure would require Botox”☎️
Thank you so much for viewing my photos in these abnormal times which we are all in together. Your comments and banter are so appreciated, keep smiling we will get through this provided we follow the official advise, stay home.
Take care🍺🍺🍺🍷🍷🍷👍😎🐎🐷😂😂😂
“The idea of reasoning together was dealt a fateful blow in the twentieth century by the collapse of moral language, the disappearance of ‘I ought’ and its replacement by ‘I want’, ‘I choose’, ‘I feel’.”

Cerro de los Siete Colores - Purmamarca - Jujuy - Argentina.
Cerro de los Siete Colores (The Hill of Seven Colors) is one of the hills bordering the Quebrada de Purmamarca which is in turn is a western branch of the Quebrada de Humahuaca up to Cuesta del Lipán, in Jujuy Province, Argentina.
Its unique color range is the product of a complex geological history including marine sediments, lake and river movements elevated with the movement of the tectonic plates.
Aside from the commonly known name this colourful hill carries, the locals of the town of Purmamarca also refer to it as the Hill of the Seven Skirts. This is an unofficial name, and not many people other than those who live here refer to it this way. The reasoning behind this second name is because of the resemblance between the colours on the hill and that of the traditional, long skirts worn by Andean women.
This breathtaking sight is composed of 7 different colours, all of which derive from different types of rocks; leading to its diverse range of colours. Each colour/rock is also said to have formed during different time periods. Firstly, pink is believed to be composed of red clay, mudstone (mud) and arilitas (sand). Its estimated age goes back about 3 to 4 million years. The shade of white surrounding the pink is mostly made up of limestone and is aged about 400 million years. Continuing onto the mix of brown and purples, which are composed of lead, and rich in calcium carbonate, and is 80 to 90 million years of age. On top of the purple-brown colour, there is an earthy brown colour that has been detected in the rock. The rocks making up this colour are the most recent colours appearing on the rocks, aging at 1 to 2 million years old, and is described as ‘fanglomerate composed of rock with manganese belonging to Quaternary.’ As for the red, which is composed of claystones (iron) and other clays belonging to the upper Tertiary, its said to also be aged around 3 to 4 millions years. The shades of green, aging at about 600 million years, are made up of phyllites, and slates of copper oxide. Finally, the yellow mustard colour is made of sandstones with sulfur, and is estimated at 80 to 90 million years.

Construction date: 1886-1898 (built in stages) - Architect: Benjamin Mountfort - Architectural style: Carpenter Gothic
"St Mary's Cathedral Church, also known as St Mary's Church, is the former Cathedral Church of the Anglican Diocese of Auckland. Located in Parnell, it replaced the earlier Old St Mary's. This wooden Gothic Revival church was designed by the prominent Christchurch architect Benjamin Mountfort and completed in 1897. The building served as the Cathedral Church and principal Anglican church of Auckland until 1973 when the Chancel of Holy Trinity Cathedral, for which the foundation stone was laid in 1957, came into use. In 1982 St Mary's Church was moved across Parnell Road to its present site beside the Cathedral.
Old St Mary's, as it came to be known, was replaced by a large wooden church, for which the Foundation Stone was laid in 1886. At more than 50 metres long, it is the largest wooden Gothic church in the world. Its English born architect Benjamin Mountfort had become one of New Zealand's most eminent architects, responsible for many of the Gothic Revival buildings in Christchurch. St Mary's is the most impressive of his wooden church designs.
The original intention had been to build the church in stone, but the plan had been rejected as too expensive. Mountfort seems to have ignored the perishable and limited qualities of wood, and built a vast church worthy of the finest stone. St Mary's covers an area of 9,000 square feet (840 m2) and has architectural features normally associated only with the great medieval cathedrals of Europe.
Bishop William Cowie instigated the decision to make St Mary's the Cathedral Church during 1887, and the first part of the church, consisting of the Chancel and three bays of the Nave was consecrated and used from 1888.
The church was completed to its present state by the addition of the four final bays and consecrated in 1898. It was Mountfort's final large scale work.
Externally the most noticeable architectural features of the long rectangular building are the numerous gables of the mostly single story structure. The gables, often placed above lancet shaped windows, serve to accentuate the Gothic motifs. This is particularly evident on the exterior of the altar tribune where three tall narrow windows rise up into the gables themselves, the tribune itself is three sided, the wooden construction making the traditional Romanesque curve in stone impossible.
The opposing end of the church containing the principal entrance, displays the full height of the building with one large gable, containing not only ground floor windows but two levels of clerestory windows above. The gable here slopes at two angles. The architect's reasoning for this was to increase the height of the gable at the façade's centre, rather than allow it to rise uniformly according to the width of the building. This central steeper roof pitch increased the ceiling height to the central aisle, as would be found over the central aisle of a true Gothic cathedral. However, the resultant effect has been to create a gable which to European eyes appears as though designed to bear the weight of heavy snow falls. In an area where snow does not occur this gives the façade, with its protruding decorated architrave above the first clerestory, an almost whimsical Swiss chalet atmosphere, which adds greatly to the building's individuality. Almost a hundred years later this feature was subtly suggested in the corresponding roof-line of the new Cathedral Nave.
In 1982 St Mary's Church was moved into the precinct of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, a major feat of engineering when the church was transported across the road and turned through 90° onto its present site."

Prior to this trip to Glacier I wrote a post musing about which pinhole camera I would take. I settled on my Reality So Subtle 6x12, with my reasoning being that Glacier National Park just seems so well suited for a panoramic camera and I had already been with my Reality So Subtle 6x17 on a previous trip. My reasoning proved to be sound when I found myself a couple miles out the Highline Trail and presented with this seemingly neverending (and never exhausting) vista. The Reality So Subtle 6x12 was a camera made for such places. My Hasselblad cut neat slices out of the view, but struggled to take it all in. My Reality So Subtle had no such hesitations. In fact, I worried about overusing it.
Glacier is a park of expansive vistas. It is teeming with them. A lot of them are readily accessible. A bit of hiking gets you many more. And I hear tell of some very adventurous hikes that reward you with even more of them. Should/when I get back to this place, I think there will be little doubt that I will have a panoramic camera of one type or another with me.

I think I have found a way to repeat this shape (not consistently) by setting larger first drop (S1=80), relatively short first delay(D1=50), smaller second drop (S2=20), very short second delay (D2=5), medium third drop (S3=30). With this settings, I can get this shape much easier.
(For those who does not understand what it is above, those are parameters used for my Water Drop Kit, currently on KickStarter)
The reasoning is the larger first drop will create high jet with relatively more momentum, and because of relatively short first delay, when the smaller second drop collides with the jet, it creastes a smaller splash but the jet is still going up because the second drop is small. Then when the third drop collides with the splash, liquid flows along the first splash forming a long tube. Of course, this is my guess, need to see this under my high speed camera once I build my high power light source for it.
