This was a magical night, as the clouds rolled around and the sun set.
Two waterfalls, lots of falling ICE CHUNKS!

This was taken February 25, 2017 using a Nikon D810, Nikkor 14-24 f2.8 lens, fotodiox wonder pana pro at:
17mm ISO 64 f22 0.5 seconds
This is the first shot that I've ever used photoshop for.. needed to remove water spots.
This is a single shot - not bracketed- not stitched. 1 shot -no mask - no overlay.

I feel as if I had a nail and hammer with this shot...
Finding a spot to shoot without footprints can be a challenge in sandy conditions.
As for this shot, I kind of like the different layers and light.
Death Valley holds many wonders this is just one of them.
Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes are a vast area of mountain-fringed dunes reaching 100ft.

I spent my Sunday evening on the North Shore of Pittsburgh working to capture this 10-shot panoramic image.
It was so cold next to the river as the wind here was picking up slightly. (That, or I am simply showing my age!)
We had sun this morning and was hoping there would have been a more dramatic sunset, but with my recent slump of late, I wanted to capture something for my efforts.
