The Matterhorn , the Symbol of Switzerland. Winter paradise ,on the way to the famous Gornergrat. No. 4154.
The Matterhorn (German), Monte Cervino (Italian) or Mont Cervin (French), is a mountain in the Pennine Alps on the border between Switzerland and Italy. Its summit is 4,478 meters (14,690 ft) high, making it one of the highest peaks in the Alps. The four steep faces, rising above the surrounding glaciers, face the four compass points. The mountain overlooks the town of Zermatt in the canton of Valais to the north-east and Breuil-Cervinia in the Aosta Valley to the south. The Theodul Pass, located at the eastern base of the peak, is the lowest passage between its north and south side.
Le Cervin (Cervino en italien, Matterhorn en allemand) est un sommet alpin de 4 478 mètres d'altitude, situé sur la frontière italo-suisse, entre le canton du Valais et la vallée d'Aoste.
Le Cervin est la montagne la plus connue de Suisse, notamment pour l'aspect pyramidal qu'elle offre depuis le village de Zermatt, dans la partie alémanique du canton du Valais.
L'ascension de la face nord fut considérée comme le dernier des grands exploits de l'alpinisme dans les Alpes, avec celle de l'Eiger et celle des Grandes Jorasses qui forment ensemble les trois grandes faces nord des Alpes.

Valentines mini project image 2. In honor of valentines which is only 7 short days away, I have decided to go for a mini project all about valentines. As it is also National Heart Month I have decided to capture different hearts this month.
I lit this image with an LED macro light stood to the left and a reflector stood to the right to help soften the shadows.
For me, streetphotography is a chance to get closer to the truth of life. I am not concerned with shapes or lines. They are always just a means to an end.
I want to show things for which there are no words 🎈

I was planning something a bit broader for the valentines day photo, but then I saw this candy heart and knew what I wanted. For the record Zappa is 7 and this is only the 2nd time she's balanced something on her nose.
