It happened that a fire broke out backstage in a theater. The clown came out to inform the public. They thought it was a jest and applauded. He repeated his warning. They shouted even louder. So I think the world will come to an end amid the general applause for a good joke

The new Design Museum in Kensington opened in November 2016. The building was formerly the home of the Commonwealth Institute and it was opened in 1962. The architects were RMJM (Robert Matthew Johnson Marshall). This photo shows a section of the original roof structure.

"A dream you dream alone is only a dream. A dream you dream together is reality." - John Lennon
This weekend, the weather and light isn't that great and hence I decided to share another shot from last weekend. I hope you like it!
There is an almost ethereal presence of light in this Infra Red shot. Shooting into the sun produces some great results.
In darkness we cannot see, but when light fills the void real illumination takes place. Shadows are only possible where there is light to cast them. Darkness is emptiness and void. Light is fullness and revelatory.
These statements are not just "phenomenological" (concentrating on the study of our consciousness of things and the objects of direct experience - in this case light), they are also "metaphysical" (fundamental to the nature of reality). It was the early Greek philosophers who taught us to think in such ways.
But it is also significant that many stories of creation, especially in the Book of Genesis, make similar statements about beginnings:
"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness." (Genesis 1:1-4).

A glimpse of a corner in Bois D Arc, Missouri. Please don’t give it your best high school French pronunciation, either! Here in the Ozarks, we call it “Bo Dark”..... Several years ago, there used to be some cool old gas pumps; you can see the base of one, if you look closely. You might see a few ghosts, too, so maybe a closer look is not advised....
I had a dream. I saw used tires, monkey and burning sky.....ha, ha!
Have a great week guys. Thank you for comments and faves.

I spent the weekend in Aberdeen, WA, and I ended up photographing quite a few abandoned places with the homeless in my frames. I don't enjoy photographing the homeless, but I do think it's a story in the midst of the state of our environment. I feel for them. Becoming homeless could happen to anyone.
After seeing Star Treks Version of London and inception. I thought i would give a spin of my own on a version of London. This was taken from St Pauls Cathedral. And i applied some stretching in Photoshop.

I just cannot believe that this is still continuing and that NOTHING is being done about it. All children belong to HUMANITY and should be covered by human rights!!!
