This pose does in NO WAY reflect my views on gun ownership and the captivity of wild animals as pets in real life, just as picturing a human wearing a collar in Second Life does not mean I promote real life slavery.

A row of four vernacular cottages, single storey, with two rooms to each house. The houses were built before 1830 for the lighthouse keepers, pilots and lifeboat men of Llanddwyn Island.
Apparently the BBC are to film a reality TV show on the Island. Titled Cockle Bay! The houses are to be used for four families to live their lives as the men and women did of 1906.
Can't wait!!
I really like my new Pretty Peony! She seems to look good in anything. Today she is posing as a castaway in one of my favorite TV shows, "Survivor." This photo is for the theme "Reality TV."

The beautiful golden sands of Cul na Croise, on Scotland's Ardnamurchan peninsula. Cul na Croise has recently been identified as the location for Channel 4's new big-budget 'reality TV' series 'Eden', in which 24 intrepid people will spend a year trying to fend for themselves, in a manner reminiscent of the BBC's Castaway series in 2000.
The company filming the series, KEO Films, has submitted an application to Highland Council under Section 11 of the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003, for an exemption of the 'right to roam' land access rights covering an area of 2.4 square kilometres around Cul na Croise and Gortenfern, the effect of which would be to prevent public access to the beach and surrounding area from 7 March 2016 until 20 March 2017. In a report dated 4 November 2015 - which incorrectly states the area affected to be only 2.4 hectares, rather than 2.4 square kilometres - Highland Council recommended that the draft exemption order be put out for public consultation and then forwarded to ministers for approval.
Shadowplay ... There I was, taking a few snaps of people setting up to obviously film a cooking show on Manly beach – film cameras, a screen and cooking implements are dead set giveaways – when up rolls a bike with a big cart on the front, off hops a familiar face – celebrity chef Miguel Maestre, of The Living Room and other shows fame. He gives me a big 'hello', obviously mistaking me for one of the crew as I'm holding a DSLR and have a camera bag on my shoulder, and trots onto the beach where he spends the next 20 minutes or so filming a segment, ostensibly on breakfast on the beach. I think the end product was panfried nuts and granola, fresh berries, and yoghurt. Many photos were taken. Manly beach, NSW, May 16, 7.30am.

Going down the memory lane, I remember visiting this rocky town called Ramanagara, which is popular for many reasons. Firstly, the city has a unique landscape of granite hills, stretching 50 kms, dating back to lower Proterozoic Era. Secondly, the place is a trekkers paradise. The hilly landscape and the wide open spaces of relatively untouched nature makes Ramanagara a beautiful escape. Finally, this is the place, where the legendary movie-‘Sholey’ was made, entirely.

You donkey! F@#k me! This turkey is raw! You're going to kill somebody! I've had it! Shut it down! Piss off!! Get out!!
About 40 miles west of Fort William in Scotland lies the tiny crofting community of Arivegaig, on the shores of Kentra Bay. The tarmacked single-track road ends at Arivegaig, but a good track continues westwards, firstly along the southern shore of the bay and then through pine woods, to the 'Singing Sands' at Gortenfern. The 'singing' refers to the unusual sound the sands make when you scuff them with your feet.
It's about an hour's walk from Arivegaig to the first beach, Camas an Lighe. That one is beautiful enough, but if you head north-eastwards for about twenty minutes, via two smaller beaches, you eventually arrive at what for me is the jewel in the crown, at Cul na Croise. It's a bit of a struggle from Camas an Lighe to Cul na Croise, especially at high tide, but the reward is a beautiful crescent of fine golden sand backed by enormous dunes. For me, this is about as close to paradise as beaches get - wild, remote and utterly beautiful.
According to Daniel Start's excellent book 'Wild Swimming - Hidden Beaches', it's also one of the best beaches in Britain for skinny-dipping, and I can't argue with that, as on all but a few of the dozen or more times I've been there I've had the entire beach to myself. Not this time though, as on this occasion I met a young Scottish mother with her 10-year-old son who were holidaying at Strontian. Seeing me in the water, swimming (with my trunks on, I hasten to add!), the little boy badgered his mum to let him go in as well. Once he realized how cold it was, he suddenly wasn't quite so keen, but with a bit of encouragement from his mum and me he eventually took the plunge, though I'm not sure that he enjoyed his swim as much as I enjoyed mine!
