Le bouddhisme est cent fois plus réaliste que le christianisme — il a dans le sang l'habitude acquise de poser les problèmes froidement et objectivement, il vient après un mouvement philosophique qui a duré des centaines d'années — la notion de « Dieu » est déjà abolie quand il survient. Le bouddhisme est la seule religion positiviste que nous montre l'Histoire, et même dans sa théorie de la connaissance (un strict phénoménisme) — il ne dit plus « guerre au péché », mais rendant à la réalité ce qui lui est dû : « guerre à la souffrance ». Il a déjà laissé derrière lui — et c'est ce qui le différencie radicalement du christianisme — l'automystification des conceptions morales ; il se trouve, pour employer mon langage, outre bien et mal.

project goal: create a super pano in 35mm format:

I cut out the metal dividers of a broken David White stereo camera and paired it with a 4x5 lens.

Cut a Spam Ham can in half and fitted the two together so I could move it forward and back and fit perfectly between the camera body and front panel. Then trimmed it to achieve the required 90mm focal length. Held together with machine screws and only a small amount of Epoxy cement until I am confident I have the focal length exact.

total cost: $74

lunch: Spam and cheddar cheese sandwich.

In this urban gray environment, the Stravinsky fountain attracts because of the brilliant colors of the sculptures of Niki de Saint Phalle.

The 16 sculptures were the joint creation of the Swiss artist Jean Tinguely and his wife Niki de Saint Phalle who joined the New Realist group in 1961.

Niki de Saint Phalle was an artist renowned for her extensive use of bright primary colours.

In contrast, the machines of Tinguely are striking. Its automata are made of plates, stems and cogs metallic painted black.

Ce pavement représente un cirque de façon réaliste, mais rien n’indique qu’il s’agit de celui de Lugdunum.

L’espace central (la spina) comporte deux bassins ; à ses extrémités, des bornes demi-circulaires (les metae) supportent chacune trois grands cônes ; au centre, les rangées de dauphins et de boules de bois servent à compter les tours.

Plusieurs moments de la course sont représentés sur le même tableau. Dans la tribune d’honneur, le personnage qui tient une écharpe va la laisser tomber pour donner le signal du départ, tandis qu’en contrebas, un opérateur actionne le dispositif qui ouvre les stalles. Les compétiteurs s’élancent : leurs virages très serrés négociés avec des attelages de plusieurs chevaux (ici des quadriges) nécessitent beaucoup d'habileté et de stratégie. Deux chars se sont renversés dans les virages. Deux auxiliaires isolés galopent près des chars : ce sont des hortatores (piqueurs) chargés d’encourager l’aurige (conducteur du char) pendant la course. Un assistant accourt avec une bassine d’eau (pour rafraîchir les chevaux ou pour les premiers soins ?).

Les quatre couleurs (bleu, vert, rouge, blanc) portées par les auriges représentent les factions, véritables entreprises « employeurs » des cochers et du personnel d'accompagnement. Les factions fournissent également les chevaux et sont les interlocuteurs des magistrats chargés d'organiser les jeux. C’est sur ces couleurs que s’engagent les paris.

Le vainqueur n’est pas encore désigné mais l’issue de la course est déjà évoquée par les deux personnages placés au centre, qui tiennent entre les mains les palmes, insignes de la victoire.

Pese a su tono realista, el cuadro preserva algunas huellas de la influencia que el surrealismo ejerció sobre el autor.

Es un óleo sobre arpillera , que es una tela bién rústica, gruesa y áspera fabricada con diversos tipos de estopa (de cáñamo o de yute), que solía utilizarse aquí, en la confección de sacos y piezas de embalaje, aunque ahora se usa hacer embalajes con hilos plásticos, como en todas partes claro.

El aspecto monumental de la figura se contrapone al ensimismamiento y a la nostálgica expresión de la mirada, así como a la delicadeza de la pose. La estática exactitud del diseño, acentuada por una luz casi despiadada que se concentra en la mujer, la sumerge en el clima misterioso del surrealismo, introducido por el propio Berni en el país.

El artista había abandonado esta tendencia para mostrar la crisis social y política que vivía la Argentina en esa década.

Se observa en la obra una factura obsesiva y concentrada en

los detalles, es increíble y muy notable este concepto, en las texturas que representan el tejido del sweater, me ha dejado fascinada …o los cabellos con un detenido estudio plástico de formas, colores, luces y sombras.

Según dicen los expertos que destacan a esta pieza y la vinculan con la mejor tradición clásica, estudiada a conciencia en Europa y presente en todas las obras de la época.

Esta escultura, de estilo realista y tamaño natural, es un homenaje a Josefa Carril, quien fue una popular fotógrafa que vivía en Oviedo y trabajaba junto con su marido, Antonio Hernández. Fotografiaban a la burguesía de la época en el mismo lugar donde se encuentra colocado el monumento. Era una mujer corpulenta, llevaba una bata larga y en invierno, una toquilla de lana. Era muy popular en Oviedo y muy querida por los niños, porque para fotografiarlos, los subía a un caballito de cartón. Parece ser, que esta mujer siempre calzaba unas "manoletinas", de ahí que se la conociera como "La Torera".

Les commentateurs hésitent entre une interprétation réaliste et anecdotique (représentation de bateleurs présentant des singes) et une interprétation symbolique et allégorique (l'homme tenant en laisse la part bestiale de lui-même).

Ces deux interprétations sont peut-être conciliables, si l'on suit le chanoine Craplet : « ce singe cordé serait le pécheur ravalé au niveau d'une bête qu'on exhibe dans les foires, parce qu'il a cédé au démon aux mille ruses ».

William Arthur Ward (December 17, 1921–March 30, 1994) was an American motivational writer.

Wind is the flow of gases on a large scale. On the surface of the Earth, wind consists of the bulk movement of air. Winds are commonly classified by their spatial scale, their speed, the types of forces that cause them, the regions in which they occur, and their effect. The strongest observed winds on a planet in the Solar System occur on Neptune and Saturn. Winds have various aspects: velocity (wind speed); the density of the gas involved; energy content or wind energy. The wind is also a critical means of transportation for seeds, insects, and birds, which can travel on wind currents for thousands of miles.

In human civilization, the concept of wind has been explored in mythology, influenced the events of history, expanded the range of transport and warfare, and provided a power source for mechanical work, electricity, and recreation. Wind powers the voyages of sailing ships across Earth's oceans. Hot air balloons use the wind to take short trips, and powered flight uses it to increase lift and reduce fuel consumption. Areas of wind shear caused by various weather phenomena can lead to dangerous situations for aircraft. When winds become strong, trees and human-made structures are damaged or destroyed.

Winds can shape landforms, via a variety of aeolian processes such as the formation of fertile soils, such as loess, and by erosion. Dust from large deserts can be moved great distances from its source region by the prevailing winds; winds that are accelerated by rough topography and associated with dust outbreaks have been assigned regional names in various parts of the world because of their significant effects on those regions. Wind also affects the spread of wildfires. Winds can disperse seeds from various plants, enabling the survival and dispersal of those plant species, as well as flying insect populations. When combined with cold temperatures, the wind has a negative impact on livestock. Wind affects animals' food stores, as well as their hunting and defensive strategies.

The wind is caused by differences in atmospheric pressure which is mainly caused by temperature difference. When a difference in atmospheric pressure exists, air moves from the higher to the lower pressure area, resulting in winds of various speeds. On a rotating planet, air will also be deflected by the Coriolis effect, except exactly on the equator. Globally, the two major driving factors of large-scale wind patterns (the atmospheric circulation) are the differential heating between the equator and the poles (difference in absorption of solar energy leading to buoyancy forces) and the rotation of the planet. Outside the tropics and aloft from frictional effects of the surface, the large-scale winds tend to approach geostrophic balance. I have needed 4 visits to get this photograph of Venice. Sometimes planning is not enough. There are many "enemies" we can find when we want to take a photograph like this. The bad weather, the works on the Grand Canal, the scaffolding in the buildings, the crowd that occupies the bridge during each sunset, and so on. In addition, the traffic in the canal is constant and getting an image with clean water, in which you can mix, for example, the gondolas, is a hard task.

This time we arrived almost three hours before dusk at the Ponte di Rialto, when we were able to place our tripods with difficulty on the balustrade. We knew that we would have to be alert and that we would not be able to move for a long time. Any hit on the tripod would have been fatal to make the blending, and in so crowded places, there are always people invading our space to try to get their selfie.

Although there were no clouds in the sky, I had the rest of the variables that I was looking for, and after taking almost 500 photographs (different expositions included), I finally got the image of the Grand Canal I had always dreamed of.

He necesitado 4 visitas para conseguir esta fotografía de Venecia. A veces, la planificación no es suficiente. Son numerosos los "enemigos" que podemos encontrar cuando queremos realizar una fotografía como ésta. El mal tiempo, las obras en el Gran Canal, los andamios en los edificios, la multitud que se agolpa en el Puente durante cada atardecer, etc. Además el tráfico en el canal es constante y conseguir una imagen del agua limpia en la que poder mezclar por ejemplo las góndolas, no es nada fácil.

Esta vez llegamos casi tres horas antes del crepúsculo al Ponte di Rialto, cuando conseguimos colocar nuestros trípodes con dificultad sobre la balaustrada, sabíamos que tendríamos que estar alerta y que no nos íbamos a poder mover durante mucho tiempo. Cualquier golpe en el trípode hubiera sido fatal para realizar la composición, y en lugares tan abarrotados siempre hay personas que invaden nuestro espacio para intentar conseguir su selfie.

A pesar de que no había ninguna nube en el cielo, se dieron el resto de las variables que buscaba, y después de realizar casi 500 fotografías (diferentes exposiciones incluidas), por fin conseguí la imagen del Gran Canal que siempre había soñado.

La Regenta "The [female] Regent") is a realist novel by Spanish author Leopoldo Alas y Ureña, also known as Clarín, published in 1884 and 1885.

The story is set in Vetusta (Spanish vetusto stands for "antiquated", "extremely old", a provincial capital city, very identifiable with Oviedo, capital of Asturias, where the main character of the work, Ana Ozores "La Regenta", marries the former prime magistrate of the city, Víctor Quintanar, a kind but fussy man much older than she. Feeling sentimentally abandoned, Ana lets herself be courted by the province casanova, Álvaro Mesía. To complete the circle, Don Fermín de Pas (Ana's confessor and canon in the cathedral of Vetusta) also falls in love with her and becomes Mesía's unmentionable rival. A great panorama of secondary characters, portrayed by Clarín with merciless irony, completes the human landscape of the novel.

The author uses the city of Vetusta as a symbol of vulgarity, lack of culture and hypocrisy. On the other hand, Ana incarnates the tortured ideal that perishes progressively before a hypocritical society. With these forces in tension, the Asturian writer narrates a cruel story of Spanish provincial life in the days of the Restoration.

La Regenta es la primera novela de Leopoldo Alas «Clarín», publicada en dos tomos en 1884 y 1885.​ En palabras de su autor, «fue escrita como artículos sueltos» que «según iba escribiendo iba mandando al editor». Gran parte de la crítica la ha considerado la obra cumbre de Clarín y de la novela española del siglo xix, la segunda de la literatura española​ y uno de los máximos exponentes del naturalismo y del realismo progresista.

La novela, cuya acción transcurre en Vetusta, una ciudad provinciana española tras cuyo nombre enmascaró Clarín a la capital asturiana, Oviedo, constituyó un verdadero escándalo en su momento, sobre todo en Oviedo: el obispo de la ciudad publicó en su contra una pastoral que mereció una réplica de Clarín.

En una ciudad de provincias, Vetusta, vive Ana Ozores, de familia noble venida a menos, casada con don Víctor Quintanar, regente de la Audiencia, del cual le viene el apelativo de "la Regenta". Ana se casó con don Víctor en un matrimonio de conveniencia. Ana Ozores es un personaje aquejado de aquella patología del espíritu que se conoció como bovarismo. Desde otro punto de vista, Ana encarna la idealidad torturada que perece progresivamente ante una sociedad hipócrita. Con estas fuerzas en tensión, el escritor construyó un alegato cruel e inclemente de la vida provinciana española, ceñida a sus clases dirigentes, en tiempos de la Restauración finisecular.

La Regenta es, sin duda, la obra maestra de Clarín y una de las novelas más importantes de la literatura española. En ella se retrata en toda su complejidad una ciudad de provincias, en la que está representada la sociedad española de la Restauración. Clarín somete a una irónica crítica a todos los estamentos de la ciudad: la aristocracia decadente, el clero corrupto, las damas hipócritas, los partidos políticos. Todo ello conforma una atmósfera social asfixiante y opresiva, con la que choca la protagonista, Ana Ozores. Su temperamento sensible y soñador la lleva a refugiarse en el misticismo; pero su confesor, el canónigo Fermín de Pas, la decepciona cuando intenta aprovecharse de ella. Pues aqui despues de un descanso me tome la libertad de editar una foto de Natasha que muchos deben conocerla por su cancion de Unwritten.

Me compre el disco y aunque no es de los mejores que he escuchado creo que trae canciones salvables.

Pues navegando por internet me encontre un tutorial que quise poner en practica y aunque ahi voy con la edicion pues tambien quise intentar reconstruccion y lo que es pintar.

Se que no salio asi realista pero pues es mi primera vez que intento reconstruir.

quando sei all'ospedale, sotto l'effetto della morfina, ti basta chiudere gli occhi per vedere paesaggi fantastici, pieni di luce e di colori. Le immagini cambiano in una frazione di secondo e vedi posti e luoghi che non hai mai conosciuto se non nel mondo onirico dei tuoi sogni.
