Seriously folks, I was cleaning my house the other day and worn out I logged on. Don't you wish chores were this easy in physical life?

Walking around at night by myself adds an element of danger to my photography. Now I'm used to it.

The pair on the left are the ones I'm wearing in the photo. I don't know what I was thinking when I threw both of these away in 2012.

Discovered this a week ago on a drive through town with the lil ones. Some talented individual taking the natural layout of the trees and painting them to make the American flag. Finally got to take pictures of it today.

The Star Spangled Banner

By Francis Scott Key 1814

Oh, say can you see by the dawn's early light

What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?

Whose broad stripes and bright stars thru the perilous fight,

O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?

And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,

Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.

Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave

O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

On the shore, dimly seen through the mists of the deep,

Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes,

What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep,

As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?

Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam,

In full glory reflected now shines in the stream:

'Tis the star-spangled banner! Oh long may it wave

O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

And where is that band who so vauntingly swore

That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion,

A home and a country should leave us no more!

Their blood has washed out their foul footsteps' pollution.

No refuge could save the hireling and slave

From the terror of flight, or the gloom of the grave:

And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave

O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand

Between their loved home and the war's desolation!

Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land

Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.

Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,

And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."

And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave

O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

"I don't understand why people hang pictures on their wall, when they can just look out the window!"

Back then I laughed at her naivity because I knew the importance of art. Now I think her view is profound, and worthy of great investigation.

Harald was one of my cats. I found him on the street when he was very little. I bring him up until 1 year in an improvise marsupium, of a short. I loved him very much!

He died last year killed by dogs.

Sometimes finding the right words to say " hey I'm really not ok today" is fucking hard! Where do you start explaining to someone how you feel?

Sometime it feels just like this image.. you're trying to speak but you're lungs are filling up with cold dirty water, the anxiety flooding your throat and choking you. Sometimes you don't even need advice, you just need to be heard, but have you ever tried to speak under water???

Summer weekend at Lake Winnipesaukii

Eric is awesome & had the thought to make home made croissants.

He worked on the dough on Saturday while I was gone, and Sunday we took them over to his brother's home & filled the dough with things like raspberries, chocolate, and cream cheese.

They were amazing.

And the whole batch contained just about a pound of butter.

Mmm, butter.

Bebenhausen Monastery and Palace

In the middle of Schönbuch, amidst charming scenery, lies the former Cistercian Monastery of Bebenhausen, which was probably founded around 1183/84 by Palgrave Rudolph von Tübingen.

Marymount has a fantastic group of accomplished alumnae--Congresswomen, CEOs, Ambassadors, etc etc. This is the only one I heard of before I started there.
