Life in Cuba. Just people, like me and like you. Sitting on a porch, being a friend to a stranger. Face to face, life is much simpler and friendlier. Neither of us sprang a meme on each other or poked each other with an insulting comment. Behind the facade of a computer screen or a smartphone, it's much easier to hate.
Well, I’m definitely not where I wanted to be. But motherhood isn’t as easy as I thought it would be. So I’m taking it slow for now and doing what I can.
