Unbrako Concrete Limited are another manufacturer based at the old Stanton Iron works site at Stanton-by-Dale near Ilkeston, Derbyshire.
In the former Central Workshop facility in Lowes Lane, Unbrako produce large ready-to-use prestressed concrete panels for use in the construction of agricultural and industrial prefab buildings.
Two old concrete mixers are permanently based on the site and are used for ferrying ready-mixed concrete from the on-site mixing plant into the workshops where the panels are cast with reinforced steel supports running through them.
The ex Cemex concrete mixer is pictured just prior to pouring wet concrete into the moulds behind. In the foreground, a worker stands on one of the set panels, which will then be lifted from the mould, trimmed and inspected prior to sale.
The company also manufacture huge cast concrete bases onto which wind turbines are mounted.

The Basys 2 FPGA development board is a circuit design and implementation platform for beginners to gain experience building real digital circuits.
