“With so many books that I want to read, and so little time in my day for reading, it seems that my best option would be to take a speed reading course…but when would I have time for that?”
Lady Camellia poses for the theme “Speed reading” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr.
I could not upload a lot of photos because I lost a loved one who was very dear to me... I'll be back very soon I hope if I still have a little motivation...
Love you everyone...
This very tame Red-shouldered Hawk was hunting near the dam at Centennial Lake. It was trying for squirrels without any luck. We watched it preening in the sunshine and then it took off into the spring sky.
Providing you guys with this alternate picture i wanted to ask a question. I have just deleted my whole skyrim and can´t decide if i should install skyre again. I think it´s a cool mod with lots of replay value but it´s also incompatible with so many other mods so i wanted to hear your opinions whether to if i should download it or not. it would help alot if you guys would answer this question truthfully. Thx for letting me have your attention. :)

The bookstore part in Salts Mill, with its lovely fragrance, the sweet notes of classical music caressing ones ears... good for all the senses. We always come away with a big smile of contentment after a visit there.
Saltaire, near Bradford in West Yorkshire, is a mid-Victorian industrial village almost unchanged since it was built by Mill owner and philanthropist Sir Titus Salt built his village in the 19th century for the spiritual, physical and moral welfare of his workers, at the site of his mill for the spinning and weaving of Alpaca Wool.
After a period of decline, it is now an example of post-industrial renewal.
Saltaire, with its cobbled streets and honey-coloured stonework, has joined the Taj Mahal and the pyramids of Egypt as a Unesco World Heritage Site, thanks to its preservation as a Victorian Model Industrial Village.
Today his great mill complex is the key feature of Saltaire and houses the 1853 gallery containing the largest collection of art in Europe by renowned Bradfordian David Hockney
Have a great day and thank you for your valuable comments, M, (*_*)

A selection of books in the Kings Library Tower within the British Library, London.
The story of Prophet Muhammad's first encounter with Angel Gabriel reads as follows: One day while meditating in the cave of hira in the hills overlooking the city of Medina, he heard a voice call out Iqra (read). Shocked, surprised, unaware of where the voice came from he responed, "I cannot read". He then felt a tight hug, then the voice again said Iqra. Again, he replied, "I cannot read" - after all, in that period of time very few could read and write, with knowledge be passed in the verbal tradition. The same happened again, after which Angel Gabriel said:
"Read, in the name of the God who created. Created man, out of a mere clot of congealed blood. Read and your Lord is Most Honorable. Who taught man to write with the pen. Taught man that which he knew not. "
This important message, of education, of learning was pushed throughout the Muslim world, so much so that S.P. Scott, speaking of the Muslims (Moors) of Islamic Spain wrote:
"At a time when even (Christian) kings could not read or write, a Moorish king had a private library of six hundred thousand books. At a time when ninety-nine percent of the Christian people were wholly illiterate, the Moorish city of Cordova had eight hundred public schools, and there was not a village within the limits of the empire where the blessings of education could not be enjoyed by the children of the most indigent peasant, ...and it was difficult to encounter even a Moorish peasant who could not read and write."
We must all read, learn, educate ourselves and understand. Any by that, I'm not referring to the TV Guide :)

Seriously, am I the only one to be pissed of about that?! Some people over there get 30 faves for their customs when they aren't even able to paint a straight line!! Me and 2 of friends have decided to post this to make you realize that it's not really cool for the good ones over there!! Some people such has legoman55 or someone like that is getting only 30 faves for his customs when they are freacking awesome, while the noobs are getting more than that. In addition they rush themselfs not bothering to clean up the pain or think of how to improve themselves. As for new sculptors why are you buying "Green Stuff" right off the bat, you don't even know to sculpt and you're using professional quality clay. I think most of the great ones will agree with us on that. I hope we made you realized something...
Ever feel like you are missing out on something ..If you love . love hard .. if you Care .. care even harder .. Tomorrow is not a given ...... Dont regret things just because you fear someone else might not feel the same.. Open up embrace change!
Here you have a couple of photos of the first chapter of Dystopia, a parallel alternative retro futuristic society fallen into decay due lack of control over genetic and transhumanic experiments in living beings for fashion and my new art installation for Linden Endowment for the Arts (LEA, sim 24).
Black Wall included an opening performance as conceptual experiment where audience was invited to participate in to face inner black walls, those full of memories, dreams and monsters. A moment of analysis and inner retrospective that Kira, Dystopia’s main character, have to do to search for a future. Black Wall is the beginning of Kira’s journey, an illegal immigrant looking to cross frontier to a better life.
Opium, Dream and Utopia are the triplets nymphs of Dystopia. In this 1st episode, you meet Opium. Behind, in abstract surreal form, you can see The Smuggler. Listen to him to have the first clue to know a bit more about Kira.

I wanted to share both another shot from the new 100-400L II from Canon and also something that I thought was a very cool abstract. I was out on the ice, and saw this "edge" where crystalline shapes like needles were forming. I composed for a yin/yang effect and then cooled the white balance to give it an intensely polar look (which, trust me, was appropriate!) Finally, I've given it a bit of a Kodachrome finish in AS7, along with "bokeh vignette" to focus the eye (so don't read anything into this about corner sharpness - the lens is amazingly sharp!) My review of it will be coming soon!
Technical information Canon EOS 6D, Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM II, Processed in Adobe Lightroom 5, Photoshop CC, and Alien Skin Exposure 7 (use code "dustinabbott" to get 10% off)
