**Marshall County Courthouse** - National Register of Historic Places Ref # 84003154, date listed 8/23/1984
Courthouse Sq.
Madill, OK (Marshall County)
The Marshall County Courthouse (1914) is a large, three-story, approximately square building of faced stone blocks. All four sides are identical. The central portion of each side is slightly recessed and has five window bays separated by Ionic columns rising from above the first floor to the frieze. The windows are modern, with metal frames. Large pilasters define the corners of the building. The doorways are centered and recessed on each side of the courthouse. The building has a projecting cornice, which Is surmounted by a parapet. The overall design of the building Is very stately and massive. The structure has a flat roof.
The Marshall County Courthouse is significant because it serves the community as the center of county governmental activity and because its architect was Jewell Hicks. Jewell Hicks also contributed to the design of the Oklahoma State Capitol Building, This courthouse reflects Hicks’ skill in combining classical elements with the simple, contemporary lines of public monumental architecture. The courthouse is the landmark of Madill. Built in the center of a plaza, traffic flows by the structure daily. Rows of businesses and shops face the four sides of the courthouse square. The Marshall County Courthouse is the central feature of both the town and the county. (1)

Today I experimented with a Sigma 180mm lens mounted on a Sony A7RM2 body using a Metabones adaptor.
This combination does not work in Auto-Focus mode so I had to use manual focusing and this was not easy and it certainly would have been impossible without focus peaking [a feature that I have never properly employed before]. In case you are unaware focus peaking is a tool to assist you while manual focusing. It highlights the areas that are in focus so you are able to quickly focus the camera and not miss crucial shots. However, focus peaking is not as easy as it sounds because it shows you what's sharp on the viewfinder screen, not what's sharp in the actual image. Since the screen or viewfinder has a much lower resolution than the actual camera sensor areas that are highlighted as being sharp in the viewfinder can be very much out of focus in the image you actually capture.
I'm not really one for street photography, but the Scottish Independence referendum campaigns have produced a lot of opportunities in Glasgow. No intended bias that there are more pictures from the Yes campaign than from No, it's just that there is much more colour and vibrancy there. A huge day tomorrow...

Saab's marriage of a Ford (Germany) V4 and the existing body style carried over from the 95 two stroke.
At first intended to be an interim model until the arrival of the Saab 99, but sales remained strong throughout the 1970's. With an output of 65bhp and a top speed near 90mph and front disc brakes, rear drum and superb handleing despite a column change gear shift. Few changes through the production run, with the production of the later cars moved to Finland. Last officially catalogued in the UK at the end of 1976

Directly above Super Paradise Beach with far reaching views to the south, Mykonos LP is possibly one of the best houses we have seen for those wanting a super cool, slick modern house. By marrying spare lines, glamorous materials, and a magnificent location, the architect/owner has created a light, airy and hip space with impeccable taste, for guests to gaze out over the horizon and experience the calm, cool vibe of Mykonos at its best.
A wide terrace flagged with sandstone and a pool that stretches out to the horizon offer a fantastic view point over Super Paradise beach, with dining and seating areas under pergolas.
