This is a flipped reflection of an elderly couple taking a walk by the lake at my local RHS Gardens, Hyde Hall. I thought it had a bit of an impressionist feel!
Thanks for all the lovely comments and favs on yesterday's flower shot :)
Driving from Calgary to Kananaskis was a big pleasure enjoying the wonderful views. Really attracted by the Rocky Mountains along the road. The stops on the side of the road happened very often, great with awesome views of the bushes, forests, and mountains. This was one of the stops, I could not remember this place name, co-existing of autumn and winter seems not attracting lots of people there… no other people around actually, just calm lake and mountains. Love this peaceful feelings…

Reflections in a dutch landscape. As reflections are my main interest in landscape scenes, I thought about roman numbering, difficult to make new titles for likewise scenes.
To sevens together
Like time indefinite
Try to catch the glass
Before it falls
Without a frown
Can you turn up the stereo?
I want to play you this old song
It's about love
Can I do that?
Did we remember to water the plants today?
I forgot to look up at the moon because
I was too busy
I was too busy looking at you, baby

Said to be the most colorful lake on the AlCan Highway. Must agree, it was a brilliant teal green, especially when the sun broke thru the clouds.
I liked the dual reflections, skies and land.
"The jade green color of the lake is attributed to the presence of copper oxide leached from the bedrock underneath. Its name is derived from the Kaska language in which "muncho" translates as "big water."

Some have suggested it was named by camping hippies.....who got hungry......
Hope your weekend is off to a wonderful start!
Dandelion parachute on a mirror with coloured paper above it. This is not easy to shoot, every movement made the parachutes move too !
I used the Raynox lens to get really close.

An art studio in town recently caught my attention. It definitely was worthy of a quick shot! When I looked closely, however, I was struck by all the amazing reflections I could see in the windows of the building and the one of the mural in a nearby car window.
