One long and lost evening in 2006, I asked a girl to marry me on this very same bench. She said yes in the moment, but that relationship died a terrible death by Christmas. Four years later in 2010, I brought a woman I loved so much dearer to this very same spot. We already knew how we were meant together – so there was no dramatic proposal. Hers is a memory that obliterated any previous inhabitants, took hold a truer joy that drives us even now. I tend to think a lot about spatial recollection. Wherever I go, it sparks the times I went before. We wrap our hearts around revisiting personal histories, but I don't like to stop at doing it in my head. The notion of moments almost hovering in place is a powerful concept, even though I don't believe it works like that. Imagination allows me to place every element of a wonderful evening exactly where it was. Not nostalgically like some escape – but as insurance that I make the present mean as much.

Decided to look back at some work I did earlier this year for a uni assignment, on a cold winters day on Hornsea beach, East Yorkshire.
I quite liked this one, but it never made the final cut as I decided to go for a different approach.

It was such a mess... Right when rev asked the questions that shab drew his pistol and got him in the leg. Everyone wet running and looks like he two other buddies that drew the gun too firing upon retrieval. I thought I could get 'em, then the blasted Rodian threw a detonator that exploded in mid air in front of me and the shiny sending me flying back losing my helmet and mind. The force threw shiny over the edge almost instantly killing him. Poor soldier. He was in this war for the same reason we were: to do and die. Chuckle had instant reaction rolling through a window and getting ready to strike on the tunnel roof. His stance wasn't strong making him vulnerable from the Duros that threatened. As far as I go, i thought it was a dream. I could barely see, my whole head was scared and my body was trembling, I was barely able to get up using my knife for support. I dragged myself to get an aim and fired... Damitt. Missed. The scope was useless being cracked, so I no-scoped the last shot just killing the Rodian. I though this would be the end for me. Rev was trying to get up with a pistol in his hand while the villains were just drawing breathes. Then with a last chance I drew my pistol firing every shot. I collapsed and then I heard the faint sound of a transmission through my fallen helmet: "Target deceased"...
This is the end from one shot. Credit for the leg design goes to:yappene
I expressed a person who is looking back on the past. I was often lost in the memories. I used varied colors to express thoughts and memories that pass through the head.
