Back in December 2024, Metroline regained this route for the third time, from First Bus at which time being called RATP Transit London.
The route had until 9 months later being allocated mostly EvoSetis cascaded from Edgware. The VMHs will be moved elsewhere with some now already in Brentford.

I've been horribly off form lately but some say that seeing a Robin in the morning can be good for luck . . . (or was that Christmas morning?)
Anyway, after another day of crappy shooting, this is the only one I liked . . . and unless I manage to get back on form, Autumn is pretty much over for me and the rest of my Autumn images will be from last year rejects.

Ravenscourt Park was built on an ancient site which used to be called Palingswick Manor and was occupied by one Alice Perrers in the 14th Century (She was King Edward III's mistress) and then changed to Ravenscourt Park in 1747 by one Thomas Corbett, Secretary to the Admiralty because there was a raven on his coat of arms. The Metropolitan Board of Works bought the Park in 1887 and opened it to the general public in 1888.
The lake in the middle of the Park (not shown here) is nowadays used for waterfowl but that wasn't always the case; the council closed the lake to humans after many accidents and in order to avoid potential lawsuits.

These early VHs had been displaced from the Sovereign side just early this year following the loss of the 139 to Metroline in the back end of August 2020. Most had been used on the 183 just until then.
The batch have been refurbished just ahead of RATP's takeover of the route 28 from Tower Transit, which will operate from Wandsworth so in the meantime they are at Stamford Brook mainly seen on the H91 as well as the E3, with some appearances on LT-allocated routes 9 and 211. Here is one snapped on the H91 just before the 28 contract change happens shortly.
