Rashing photos on Flickr

I have just ordered a 2nd hand Pentax K7 from Ebay... it is a refurbished one from a hopefully reputable dealer (I'm hoping ex-display model... it says 'pristine' anyway)... best bit, it was about £600+ cheaper than the current price on most websites. I assume it means a replacement is coming out but from what I see its a pretty good camera...

Probably just too good to be true and am waiting for the 'sorry, this is a mistake email or sorry we don't exist' email....

Anyway, reasonably excited to be moving to the SLR world at long last.

Hope its better than my FZ50!

Pax has now developed some mysterious rash. The vet said it isn't mange, but it didn't respond to antibiotics. So... just keeping it clean... doesn't seem to bother him.

I was walking around the Queen Street Mall and saw quite a bit of activity at the stage closest too the Myer Centre.

I introduced myself and found out what the stage was being set up for - United Arab Emirates National Day. It is celebrated on December the 2nd but as it was a Saturday and the stage in the Queen Street Mall was available, the day of celebration was on the 3rd here on Brisbane.

It marked their independence from the UK and they had a lot of things planned to celebrate their day.

There have been a lot of benefits to this 100 Strangers Project and one of them, for me, has been to be able to meet people from different cultures and learn about their customs and heritage.
