The bright yellow of the flowers of rapeseed just fits the sun very nicely.

In May, when the odoriferous fields of rape were in full bloom, it made a nice foreground for this lone tree. Because the light wasn't that great for the particular scene the evening before, I returned to the spot together with Nicky, on the next day.

Some blooming oil seed I took a few shots of back in May when the colours were full on. You can see the tower of East Meon church in the background. I have got a lot of back catalogue stuff which I have only just started looking at from way back in the year so there is no real rhyme or reason to this shot but I just liked the colour.

Rape fields, Herefordshire. It was very difficult on these small country lanes to find somewhere to stop and photograph the fields. There were many to choose from but access was not easy!
The fields of rape were radiantly splendid clothed in yellow. I stood and peeped through the hedgerow at the view beyond.
No escape from the mass mind rape
Play it again jack and then rewind the tape
