Der Frühling 2022, der letzte für den regulären Bahnbetrieb auf der nördlichen Vogelfluglinie, bot zum Abschied noch einmal ein Feuerwerk an Blüten und Sonnenschein auf. 218 402 war mit dem IC 2415 vor rund 15 min in Burg auf Fehmarn gestartet und passierte auf dem Weg nach Hamburg Hbf bei Seekamp eines der gefühlt unzähligen Rapsfelder im Norden Ostholsteins (Aufnahme vom Hochstativ).

Spring 2022, the last for regular rail operations on the northern Vogelfluglinie, once again offered fireworks of blossoms and sunshine as a farewell. 218 402 had started with IC 2415 about 15 minutes ago at Burg on Fehmarn and on the way to Hamburg Hbf near Seekamp it passed one of the seemingly countless rapeseed fields in the north of Ostholstein (photo taken from a high tripod).
