Happy International tiger day! A wild Bengal tiger taken in Ranthambhore National Park. This young tiger and two of its siblings were sitting in and next to the road. The neat thing was that we had this sighting all to ourselves thanks to our driver and guides.

A bengal tiger cub relaxes in a tree in the jungles of India. These cubs were in a tree right next to the road that we were on. They were so close that it was hard to get the cubs together in the same frame ( see the tail of another cub in the picture). There were three cubs in all.

A mother tigress and her cub walk away into the jungles of India. We saw this mama tiger and her three cubs one early morning. It was difficult getting of picture of them as they crossed the road and walked into the Indian jungle. We did see them again later that day and had the sighting all to ourselves :-).

This is the following picture to my previous post. After the tigress made her way down to the water hole, she cooled off in it. Here she was making splashes by kicking her foot. International Tiger Day 2023.

I just reposted this pictured because i had to edit something. Sorry to anyone who commented or favored it before. A bengal tiger cub chewing on a stick. This wild tiger cub was hanging out in a tree with one of its siblings.

I was thrilled to see an Indian leopard in Ranthambhore and we actually had two sightings during our stay! Leopards are harder to spot in Ranthambhore because they try to avoid the tiger and tend to stay up in the mountain areas! Our talented spotter spotted this leopard as we were leaving the park! They backed the vehicle up so we could have a better view! We only had about two minutes to photograph him because we had to leave the park at a certain time!

How cute is this face? I had to post a close-up of a nilgai calf after posting my previous photo!

These langur monkeys were playing like crazy that sometimes all I saw was tails haha. It was so much fun watching them but not so easy photographing because they were jumping all around.

A tigress with a chital fawn! I was happy for this tigress because we watch her have three unsuccessful hunts and on the fourth she caught this fawn! A tiger cub for Tiger Tuesday. A wild seven month old tiger cub climbing a tree. This tiger cub and one of its sibling were playing in this small tree and a were bit clumsy with their climbing.

Today is International Tiger Day and here is a tiger living wild and free in Ranthanthambhore National Park in India. She was coming down from these rocks to enter a water hole to cool off on a hot day.
