The old pier that was almost completely destroyed by fire in 2010, after lottery funding of over 12 million pounds it was restored and re-opened in May 2016.

Now the Pier Trust have put the pier into administration and it is now up for sale. An Operations Manager was appointed at a cost of £70,000 per annum who resigned after less than a year in the post.

The way the pier has been run is an utter disgrace and why the lottery funding was ever released for such an outdated concept is even more alarming.

Surely over 12 millions pounds worth of lottery money could have been used on a much more worthwhile cause instead of a structure that resembles a plank with a dozen garden sheds on it.

It really bothers me when people call emily an 'ungreatful bitch' or 'irrelevant' and stuck up.

Just because she's not focusing on being disney, and not wanting to talk about being lilly, or how it's like wokring with Miley Cyrus , or every little thing Disney in interviews over and over again, doesn't make her ungreatful.

really? her concerts have been sold out, she has countless followers on twitter, tons of friends on myspace, facebook, and youtube. She is probably one of the very few disney stars that are actually successful in branching out.

her record label has nothing to do with Disney, she can say damn in her own songs, she gets the chance to tour and write with amazing artists, she is always thankful for her fans.

She is one of those artists that just likes being her age, she loves to hang out with her friends, she went to a normal school, she knows what she wants to do with her music / acting and she's going for it.

She is not Lily. She's Emily Osment, she's VERY talented, very beautiful, very caring , and very driven and dedicated.

I'm going to love , and be a fan of hers because i adore her music, i adore her personality, i adore every thing that she stands for, and is.

She has introduced me to many musical groups i wouldn't think to listen to, and she has surprised me with how smart she is and how much we have in common with our style, personality, and likes and dislikes.

To me, she's a rolemodel, and a person i will continue to be a fan of.

I've loved her since hannah montana started, and i've always hoped she would branch out from being Miley's best friend , and being the sidekick.

It hurts to see people bash on her so badly just because she's not into the whole Disney scene. Don't like it, you don't have to..but get over yourselves if you think she'll change for you, or even care one teeny bit what you think. She cares about what she, her friends, and her fans think about her - that's it.

haters are not important, obviously she has lived a more normal life than any other disney star, so i can say with confidence, that Emily Osment is a normal teenager, so back the fuck off and get off your high horse.

Man I gotta tell you about the subway in Japan. Freezing cold outside and get on a train and you have to strip down to get comfortable it is so toasty and stuffy. They could save a lot of power wasted on heating and make people feel much more comfortable at the same time if they turned the thermostat down a few degrees!

I've been wondering if the age limit for Flickr is still enforced, because I just saw something that looks like it was built by a six-year-old- absolutely no rhyme or reason, just random parts slapped together. I'm not going to name names as to not start a long flamewar, but this aggravates me. The quality of LEGO on Flickr used to be superb, and there's been a significant decline, right along with the influx of new people. Legoboy can only go so far for the reason for all of this horrible stuff. WHAT IS THE SOURCE, WHY, AND HOW DO WE STOP THIS PLAGUE!

Okay, I'm slightly irked.

I put up photos late at night, or early in the moring, and I get barely any faves. I know, you don't see them because other people put up their photots and you won't see them on the front page but still. I see all the "famous" people on here getting countless faves on any photo they put up. I know I shouldn't complain, but idk..it bothers me today for some reason.

Also, why is it that when I put up a normal non dolly photography photo, or at least a doll that isn't Bratz, I don't get any love for it? Eh. It makes me wonder what will happen when I grow outta dolls (which won't be fore a while, xD). >.<

Sorry if I sound annoying or snooty. Idk, I just really needed to let that out. Because it seems no matter how hard I try on this site, I won't be good enough. If you're gonna rehash the battle of hoth on crait and the death star again fir the third time, because Disney clearly has no idea what they are fucking doing. Do it right. The portable death star laser cannon, that somehow didn't kill Finn and rose who were running straight into the damn beam, the new AT-At and Kylos shuttle was MAJORLY OVER KILL, the rebels had no fighting chance, the vehicles they had were junk that wasnt made for battle nor for the AT-AT's that the Snowspeeders were equipped for and could fly. anyways the Empire easily over powered the rebels because a man child was in charge. If they had tone it down to just super soldiers, that might have been better. Seriously, the empire brought waay too much fire power. All while killing off/throwing away cool & important characters like elite troops, hunters, jedi & more

I used to express myself in photos. Constantly clicking the shutter, scheming ideas and plans, waiting for a few free minutes to set up my tripod and slip into photo mode, letting everything, every worry and piece of stress slip away.

I don't do that anymore. I'm falling, failing, being consumed by tasks, lack of effort, lack of feeling important, feeling like the photos aren't necessary because they might just live their whole life on my hard drive.

Maybe its a part of growing up, maybe it's because school consumes life ravenously, but I don't want to loose the sparkle. I don't want to loose the emotional connection to this.

I made this from a silhouette photo of mine, a texture and a raven photo I took some time ago.

People always leave comments saying that I have beautiful skin, or asking if I "photoshopped" my skin, or things of that nature.

Just to clarify.... yes. I use Photoshop. Yes, I edit my photos. No, I am not going to post a picture to Flickr showing a pimple. Why on earth would I?

My skin is not flawless, not even close. I am not some superhuman with no pores, perfect even skintone, and not a hint of a blemish.

The beauty (pun intended) of being a self-portrait artist is that I have control over what I put out there. My goal is NOT to capture the reality of something, but to create a compelling image. There are those among us who cannot accept that concept.

In reality, my skin goes from good to bad, and is sometimes great, and sometimes horrendous. I am human. It happens. Does that mean I need to document that for the world? Nope.

So, in conclusion... no, my face is not naturally flawless. Yes, I retouch my photos. No, I don't feel guilty about that. It's not like I'm taking things so far from the truth. I'm not liquefying things to look thinner or changing the size or shape of any of my features. I will argue with anyone about the good side vs. the bad side of photo retouching.

I just really felt like that needed to be said. People don't realize that by complimenting how "gorgeous" my skin is, what they are actually complimenting is my skill with editing and my skills as a photographer. (Which is fine with me!)

Ok so recently I have had lots of bad luck trying to buy these two off of eBay because of their "rarity" but when you think about it torelai and nefera turn up on eBay much more than any of the others so I have no idea why they are "rare". The lengths that people go to to sell these are just outrageous. Yesterday I saw a messy torelai missing her belt and all accessories go for £46.99!!!! I have lost a lot of faith in eBay because of this because these people think these dolls are rare and think someone will pay that much!!!
