1985 Range Rover 6 x 4
Glenfrome of Bristol conversion
Seen in South Kensington, London SW7.

Smartphone snapshot.
A tastefully presented/restored, French registered, 4 door Range Rover Classic.
Estimated to be from the mid 1980's (according to my multiple Range Rover owning friend - who has also abandoned an immaculate 1971 version in my garage !)
The RR's design was well over 20 years old when this one was sold new, but still looked classy. Age doesn't seem to have diminished that.

This really crept up on me hence the close photo
Smart example, I presume getting in early for a big Land Rover weekend coming up at Billing Aquadrome. There were a number of other L-Rs to be seen.
I would end up getting a better shot of another Range Rover Mk1, as well as seeing one or two others on the road.
This lovely old Range Rover apparently owned by a tourist from Holland was spotted in Edinburgh in May 2016.
Lovely lovely early Range Rover! Registered as a 1976 in New York, but built in September 1975 and considered by British Leyland themselves to be a 1975. Of course, what the US importers got up to is another story altogether. Is this Bahama Yellow?
