Every object that you see casts a shadow. Nature has it's own way of showing things in dual colored modes. The colored object and a greyscale shadow that the object casts. Makes me think, how every object has two sides of it; the actual colours and the grey/black shadow colour it casts. More variations as in transparent, translucent and opaque objects. Looking at a shadow one could probably tell what the actual object might look like and was made of.
This dude kept turning around looking back at me while I was shooting a pano of the flowers and architecture.

Well, today was busy for me for the most part, but I did manage to get that rough draft finished and turned in for class and discussion posts replied to there also.
Good day today, although it seems as if it is staying hotter in our house than it is outside..which stinks. :P Got to talk to my son today in NY..it was good to hear from him. =o)
wore this vintage jacket to work today; day one of the color project -- today is orange day. Also, as this is burnt orange, it fits into the Year of Color project, too! Who would have thought this jacket would full so many niches of my life.

Bad things do happen; how I respond to them defines my character and the quality of my life. I can choose to sit in perpetual sadness, immobilized by the gravity of my loss, or I can choose to rise from the pain and treasure the most precious gift I have – life itself. (Walter Anderson).
Day five (last day!) of the color project -- today is wildcard day! And so I chose black and white. I cut an odd figure, swathed in scarves and pearls and pointy shoes, sprawled out on a blanket at the beach.

Day three of the color project -- today is green day. The awesome copy room pictures by Kerri got all messed up and corrupted in my camera, so these are shots in my living room, after a very tiring day. I'm also wearing a green shirt with sequins! And those? The best. shoes. ever. Note amazing quilt from Hillary and Danny, made by Montana Amish! Everything in this picture is good, except for the vertical blinds, bleah.

My love for you is very delicate and bruises quite easily. It's not something that should not be mishandled, mistreated or misjudged. When loved fully, completely and unashamedly I give that back and more. When you make me smile I will make you smile even more. To be forewarned is to be foretold, when you mess that up, you will miss me when I am gone. {Random Thought 7.4.13}
Sometimes the obvious is right in front of you and you just don't see it until you remove what's blocking your view from in front of you. I am seeing things alot more clearly now that I have removed a few things from blocking my view. #RandomThought 9.20.15

All this time during my commute I was carrying a tripod with me. I get to work, and there's a tripod on the ground already. What! How did another tripod get there? Then I realized my dad loaned me two tripods, but for a couple seconds I thought my mind created a duplicate tripod on the ground. Answer? Superhuman mind powers of duplication.
Four more crazy things happened on my commute one morning. What else happened? Find out at www.spudart.org/blogs/randomthoughts_comments/5427_0_3_0_C/

Enjoy today and the people you care about. Tomorrow is not promised to us. Don't spoil a moment of opportunity to create memories with that person with holding onto grudges and harboring hard feelings. We are not perfect. We make mistakes
ups and downs....the same stair is used to go up as well as down....
