This young woman saw me taking photos and asked if I would take some of her. She explained that she studies dance at Rutgers University. This turned out OK but I was lamenting the fact that I had left my flash at home to lighten my bag... Won't make that mistake again. What a great random opportunity!

So, you make your own judgement on the quality of pic. I'm quite happy with it. Sam took it, in a very dark lighting situation. I told the girl to stay still, but her failure to do so, in our opinion, made the picture. Or maybe it was the window, that was the inspiration for my placement, and that led to the meeting of the random chick.
Oh, also - we've decided based on this pic and the noise not from the sensor, but from the jpg artifacts, that from now on, we will devote the space for raw plus fine jpg. Fucking artifacts.
I will not be complaining. I remember when this past winter we struggled to get into the double digits...I just wish it was a dry heat, I just went through shirt number 3.
The girls just left for camp with Brenda's Aunt & Uncle. We leave tomorrow afternoon. Yes it will be HOT, but I'm ok with that. I did pack lots of shirts and if you come to camp, you will probably find me swimming or looking like I just did with shirt and all.
