Another post (some of them have been remixes, essentially) from a recent random double exp roll shot on the run (didn't I vow to set aside time for actual photo drives/walks?). Both of my parents had medical emergencies last week, and for the moment, I'm just pleased that they're feeling better (and I have a moment to post another of these oddities). Thanks for stopping by. Random Thoughts is an impressionistic tribute in glass to a healthy mind, made of hundreds of pieces of hand- made glass suggesting a neuron and its nucleus, axons, and dendrites. Commissioned by the Percent For Art Program, City of New Orleans, for the Algiers Regional Library.
In the '90's, Random came on the scene. He was a mercenary with forearms that could be shaped into blasters. He was originally suspected to be the mutant who would betray the X-men and bring about their deaths and Bishop's future.
Apparently, a construction worker decided to hang up this headshot of Anna Pinna. Who Anna Pinna is, I have no clue. Still, there you go.
(Actually, like everyone else on the planet, Anna has a web site. Still, why her picture smiles back at me is anyone's guess.)
Around Cologne Bonn airport there is a nature reserve called Wahner Heide. I went there to check it out. It is nice, especially with a mountain bike but the frequent planes and the ubiquitous dud-warnings (it was once a military training ground) kinda destroy the mood.
This is a panorama at some random Rock I found. Looks like some sort of a monument.
