It's the holy month of Ramadan and our teaching centre is suitably decorated. Working hours are shorter for the month and the daily schedule changes with mornings and afternoons quiet and those observing staying up late (sometimes very late) to enjoy family time after Iftar (breaking the fast at sundown).

Are you ready to welcome Ramadan??
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and is observed by Muslims worldwide through #fasting, prayer, and acts of #charity.
During Ramadan, Muslims abstain from food, drink, and other physical needs from dawn until sunset, with the intention of purifying their soul, increasing their closeness to Allah, and gaining a deeper understanding of the sufferings of the less fortunate. It is also a time for giving charity, performing acts of kindness, and strengthening bonds with family and friends.
The end of Ramadan is marked by Eid al-Fitr, a joyous festival that celebrates the breaking of the fast and is typically celebrated with prayer, feasting, and exchanging gifts with loved ones.
