As emoçoes do Rally Dakar (ex Paris Dakar) não param.
A foto ai é do lider da competição na categoria automóvel.
Carlos Sainz conduzia o seu Wolkswagem com maestria e liderava a etapa até a localidade de Villavicencio em Mendoza.
Nesta etapa (11) os veículos sairam de Santiago do Chile, cruzaram a fronteira com a Argentina e disputaram parte da prova a mais de 3500 m de altitude, tendo o Aconcágua (Pico mais alto das Américas) como pano de fundo.
O maior e mais importante Rally do mundo está chegando em sua reta final.
Amanhã e na sexta, o rally segue em terras mendocinas e cruza pelas dunas da cidade de San Rafael, ao sul da provincia de Mendoza.
Voando baixo, o espanhol Carlos Sainz quase fez uma nova vítima no Dakar: o pássaro ai, ao lado na foto! Jejejeje.
O maior e mais importante Rally do mundo chega a sua 12 etapa.
A largada foi na cidade de San Juan e o final é na cidade de San Martin, aqui en Mendoza.
Por enquanto na Categoria motos quem segue firme na classificaçao geral é o frances Depres seguido pelo noroegues Verhoeven...
Aguardem, as emoções seguem fortes aqui por Mendoza...

🇬🇧 Shark is my eighth Dakar Rally car, which is a grateful source of inspiration for me. This time I drew a lot from the model of the SRT Rally Team, which already impressed me with its design on the welcome stage. Due to the fact that I was not able to obtain data for accurate scale modeling, I extracted only the essential elements from the freely available photographs. This created a brand new car. However, its internal structure clearly has the most accurate logic of the internal arrangement, including air intake to the engine and exhaust pipes. The suspension this time was created in collaboration with Dariusz Sędziak, who inspired me to make changes while preparing the instructions for my SSV Maverick. This model is a new maximum for me, which I am able to achieve on this scale, and its construction was extremely fun, full of research and new discoveries.
I will publish more photos of the internal structures and details of the mnotor later.

🇨🇿 Shark je mé osmé auto s tématikou Rally Dakar, která je pro mne vděčným zdrojem inspirace. Tentokrát jsem hodně čerpal z modelu týmu SRT Serradori, které mne už na uvítacím podiu zaujalo svým designem. Vzhledem k tomu, že se mi nepodařilo získat podklady pro přesný scale modelling, vytáhl jsem si z volně dostupných fotografií jen esenciální prvky. Vziklo tak zcela nové auto. Jeho vnitřní struktura má však jednoznačně nejvěrnější logiku vnitřního uspořádání, včetně vzduchového sání k motoru a výfukového potrubí. Zavěšení kol tentokrát vzniklo ve spolupráci s Dariuszem Sedziakem, který mne během přípravy návodu pro mé SSV Maverick, inspiroval ke změnám. Tento model je pro mne novým maximem, které jsem schopný v tomto měřítku dosáhnout a jeho stavba byla neobyčejně zábavná, plná pátrání a nových objevů.

Captured at the Atacama Desert, Chile during the 2014 Dakar rally. Luca, exhausted and checking his phone at the end of a very long and harsh special (timed) stage. He still needed to ride another 350 kms. to the camp at La Serena for the last stage of the year. The Dakar rally is full of amazing stories of unknown raiders whose victory is just to get to the finish. Two days later he got his prize.

Aún debía recorrer otros 350 kms. hasta el campamento en La Serena para la última etapa del año. El rally Dakar está lleno de historias de pilotos desconocidos para quienes es un triunfo el solo hecho de llegar a la meta. Dos días después el tuvo su premio.

🇬🇧 The theme of the Dakar Rally holds me tight. This time I was inspired by the buggy of the Argentine racer Sebastián Halpern Dakar from the German X-raid Team. In some ways, I differed from the original to make creation fun for me, but the result is a beautiful essence. What do you think?
I really enjoy building economically and quickly. Some passages were really challenging. When I finished the inner tubular frame and found that a third spare wheel would fit in the space above the engine, I was completely excited. The buggy is very compact and packed with details that provide a really beautiful space on this scale.

🇨🇿 Téma Dakarské Rally se mne pevně drží. Tentokrát jsem se inspiroval buggynou argentického závodníka Sebastiana Halperna z německého týmu X-raid. V určitých ohledech jsem se od předlohy odlišil, aby pro mne bylo tvoření zábavou, ale výsledek je krásnou esencí. Co myslíte?
Moc mě baví stavět úsporně a svižně. Některé pasáže byly opravdu náročné. Když jsem dodělal vnitřní trubkový rám a zjistil, že se do prostoru nad motorem vleze ještě třetí náhrandí kolo, úplně jsem zajásal. Buggy je velmi kompaktní a nacpaná detaily, které v tomto měřítku poskytují opravdu krásný prostor.
Užijte si Rally Dakar 2022!
