National Secretary, BJP Kisan Morcha Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said that being a Sikh he feels that suspension of Panj Piyare under Parkash Singh Badal Chief Minister Punjab Government directions is an attack on basic tenets of Sikhism and religious institutions. He said that these are his own feelings not Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Talking with the media persons here today Grewal said it's very much clear that Parkash Singh Badal and his family are bent upon to destroy the basic tenets of Sikhism and religious institutions like Sri Akal Takhat Sahib. Grewal said that every Sikh accept Parkash Singh Badal know the importance of the concept of Panj Piyare and dictate issued by them. Grewal told that history of Sikhs is evident that during the battle of Chamkaur, the last five surviving Sikhs constituted themselves into the council of Panj Pyare and commanded Guru Gobind Singh to leave the fortress and save himself to reassemble the Sikhs and the Guru bowed before their dictate. Grewal said that incident's of past days, these Panj Pyares are not of any ordinary Gurdwara, but belonged to the Sri Akal Takht Sahib. He said that Sri Akal Takht Sahib the highest temporal seat of the Sikhs have not violated Sikh tenets and traditions by summoning these Parksh Singh Badal's branded Jathedar 's whIch are culprit of extending unconditional pardon to Dera Sacha Sauda Chief Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh. He said that these Panj Piyare are vested with the power to award religious punishment to the guilty after seeking explanation for religious offences. They had already justifiably summoned the jathedars of Takhts in the light of the shattered sentiments of the Sikhs across the world by expending unconditional pardon to Dera Sacha Sauda Chief Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh by them. He said that it is shocking for the entire Sikh Diaspora that Avtar Singh Makkar President, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandak Committee (SGPC) took action against these Panj Piyare for violation of service rules of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandak Committee (SGPC), but in the case of Jathedar Sri Akal Takhat Sahib forget service rules, who is also an employee of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandak Committee (SGPC) and main culprit of granting pardon to Dera Sacha Sauda Chief Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh. He said that these Panj Piyare have expressed the feelings of the Sikh Panth and have not favoured Parkash Singh Badal and his family which did not suits to them. Grewal said that presently Jathedar of Sri Akal Takhat Sahib do not represent the feelings of the Sikhs and do not act to protect Sikh traditions and tenets, but as a personal slave to Parkash Singh Badal family and issue dictates as desired by Parkash Singh Badal and withdraw dictates on his directions.

> लुधियाना। श्री जैन श्रेवतांबर तेरा पंथ समाज के अग्रणी संगठन अनुव्रत महासमिति की राष्ट्रीय कार्यकारिणी ने भाजपा के राष्ट्रीय स्तर के नेता सुखमिन्द्रपाल सिंह ग्रेवाल को व्यस्न मुक्ति अभियान का पंजाब प्रभारी नियुक्त किया। साध्वी सुश्री धर्म प्रभा जी ठाणे-4 जी के सान्धिय में आयोजित समारोह में तेरा पंथ समाज के वरिष्ठ सदस्यों ने सुखमिन्द्रपाल सिंह ग्रेवाल को सम्मानित किया। वर्णनीय है कि तेरा पंथ समाज का समाज सेवी संगठन अनुव्रत महासमिति राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर आचार्य तुलसी जी के जन्म शताब्दी वर्ष में देश को व्यस्न मुक्त अभियान के तहत नशामुक्त करके , जीव हत्या रोककर मासाअहार के प्रयोग से सुचेत करने व सामाजिक कुरितियों के खिलाफ अभियान आरम्भ किया है। इसी अभियान के तहत अनुव्रत महासमिति ने ग्रेवाल को पंजाब का प्रभारी नियुक्त किया है। साध्वी जी के चरणों में नतमस्तक होने पंहुचे व्यस्न मुक्त अभियान के पंजाब प्रभारी सुखमिन्द्रपाल सिंह ग्रेवाल को आर्शीवाद देने के उपरांत साध्वी धर्म प्रभा जी ने उपस्थित श्रावकों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि आज तेरा पंथ समाज आचार्य तुलसी जी के जन शताब्दी वर्ष में आचार्य श्री महाश्रमण जी के सान्धिय में देश को नशा व अंहिसा मुक्त करने के लिए व्यस्न मुक्त अभियान चला रहा है। इस अभियान के तहत भगवान महावीर जी के इंसान को इंसान बनकर अंहिसा से दूर रहने का संदेश जन-जन तक पंहुचाया जा रहा है। व्यस्न मुक्त अभियान की विस्तारपूर्वक जानकारी देते हुए साध्वी श्री जी ने कहा कि व्यस्न (नशा) व फैशन मानव जीवन के पतन की निशानियां है। इसलिए मानव जीवन को सार्थक बनाने के लिए व्यस्न व फैशन से दूर रहने के प्रयत्न करके ज्यादा से ज्यादा समय प्रभु भक्ति में बिताएं । व्यस्न मुक्त अभियान के नव नियुक्त पंजाब प्रभारी सुखमिन्द्रपाल सिंह ग्रेवाल ने साध्वी जी के चरणों में नमन करते हुए सौपी गई जिम्मेदारी को बखूबी निभाने का भरोसा दिलाया। इस अवसर पर महिन्द्र कुमार जैन, बंसी लाल सुराणा, कमल नवलखा, राय चंद जैन, दविन्द्र गुप्ता, विनोद देवी सुराणा, कुलदीप जैन सुराणा, राज कुमार बुच्चा, राकेश गर्ग, सुनिल सेठीया, मनोज धाड़ीवाल सहित अन्य भी मौजूद थे।

भाजपा किसान मोर्चा के राष्ट्रीय सचिव व जम्मू-कश्मीर के प्रभारी सुखमिन्द्रपाल सिंह ग्रेवाल ने वीरवार को भाजपा के पूर्व मंडल अध्यक्ष सहित अन्य पदों पर कार्य कर चुके वरिष्ठ नेता महावीर अग्रवाल के चंडीगढ़ रोड पर सैक्टर 32 स्थित उनके निवास अस्थान पर जाकर उनका कुशल क्षेम पूछ कर उनकी दीर्घायु की कामना की। वर्णनीय है कि कुछ दिन पूर्व फोर्टिस अस्पताल में महावीर अग्रवाल की बाईपास सर्जरी हुई थी। ग्रेवाल ने महावीर अग्रवाल की तरफ से पार्टी के प्रति दी गई सेवाओं का वर्णन करते हुए कहा कि महावीर ने बचपन से ही अपने माता-पिता से मिले देश भक्ति के संस्कारों के प्रहरी बनकर 1982 में राष्ट्रीय स्वयं सेवक संघ व भाजपा की विचारधारा से जुड़ कर राष्ट्र निर्माण में विशेष योगदान देकर विभिन्न पदों पर जिम्मेदारियां संभाली। ग्रेवाल ने पास ही खड़े अग्रवाल के बेटे ललित अग्रवाल की पीठ थपथपाते हुए कहा कि ललित भी अब अपने पिता महावीर अग्रवाल की तरह पार्टी की युवा इकाई के मंडल अध्यक्ष की जिम्मेदारी संभाल कर राष्ट्र निर्माण के प्रति वचनबद्ध दिखाई दे रहा है।

Students from the Blind School presented a welcome song at the beginning. Students from the university also gave a song and dance at the event. Punjabi singer Inderjeet Singh Nikku also gave a scintillating performance and enthralled all those who were present. Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal, BJP leader was also present at the occasion. Participants from all age groups came forward to be a part of the marathon. "Health plays an essential role in everybody's lives, devoid of their age, cast, creed or gender. Such events encourage one to maintain good health," said particpant Rajyavardhan Singh. "Performing in front of dignitaries from almost all walks of life enhanced my confidence level and was deeply an enriching experience for me," said Shivi Verma, a performer.

National Secretary BJP Kisan Morcha and Prabhari Himachal Pradesh Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said that the Shiromani Akali Dal , Badal must take lessons from the poll outcome in Haryana. He said the SAD , Badal should know that its experiment of having a coalition with other parties had failed to bring any harm to Bharatiya Janata Party. Grewal said that BJP has emerged stronger despite their opposition, our alliance partner must understand that it has failed to make any difference in Haryana. Advising to the SAD to re-think it's strategy, Grewal said the SAD claimed that the INLD was its long-term partner. Grewal said but it’s against the coalition Dharma of the NDA. The poll outcome of Haryana is expected to leave strong bearings on ruling alliance of Punjab. Shiromani Akali Dal, Badal leaders proactively campaigned in favour INLD candidates against their Punjab ally BJP candidates during Haryana elections. The assembly election results will make BJP more assertive in Punjab where it has a coalition Government with the Shiromani Akali Dal, Badal. For last few decades the BJP was acting as a junior partner in Punjab but after land sliding victory in Lok Sabha elections, followed by massive success in Haryana and Maharashtra assembly elections, the political out fit seem to be in mood of throwing away the junior partner jacket. The BJP leaders were travelling to Diamond Harbour in South 24 Parganas near Kolkata when the attack took place around 12 noon. Diamond Harbour is the parliamentary constituency of Trinamool MP Abhishek Banerjee, the nephew of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

Briefing media in New Delhi this afternoon, BJP Kisan Morcha National Secretary and Prabhari Jammu and Kashmir Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said the NDA government has decided to link MGNREGA to Agriculture.
Grewal said this will reduce the cost of agriculture and also provide employment. He said after independence, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi Government is the first Government to approve 52 per cent of the country's budget for plans relating to the development of villages, agriculture and farmers.

ग्रेवाल ने कहा कि कैप्टन गांधी परिवार की तर्ज पर पंजाब में भी अंग्रेजों वाली नीति ‘फूट डालो और राज करो’ अपनाए हुए है। पंजाब के समूह मुलाजिमों को जब सरकार राज्य के खजाने में से समय पर वेतन नहीं दे सकती तो उसके हाथों में कभी भी पंजाब सुरक्षित नहीं रह सकता। 70 सालों से देश कांग्रेस सरकार की गलत नीतियों के चलते हर क्षेत्र में पिछड़ चुका है इसलिए पंजाब तरक्की से वंचित है। सुखमिंदरपाल सिंह ग्रेवाल ने कहा कि कैप्टन सरकार पंजाब की जनता से विश्वासघात करके उन्हें खून के आंसू रूला रही है और हिंदू-सिख भाईचारे को लड़ा रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि पंजाब में हिंदू और सिख भाइयों की तरह खुशी का जीवन बतीत कर रहे हैं, हम शपथ खाते हैं पंजाब की ख़ुशी बर्बाद नहीं होने देंगे I उन्होंने कहा पंजाब के लोग पूरी तरह से तैयार है वह आतंकवाद जैसा काला दौर पंजाब में फटकनें नहीं देंगेI कैप्टन सरकार नशे पर नकेल डालने में बुरी तरह नाकाम सिद्घ हो रही है। पंजाब में जो रैफरेंडम 2020 के होर्डिंग्स लग रहे हैं उससे साफ हो चुका है कि कैप्टन औच्छी राजनीति करके सत्ता की रोटियां सेक रहा है जबकि दूसरी तरफ पंजाब बेरोजगारी व नशे की दलदल में धंसता जा रहा है I ग्रेवाल ने कहा कि अगर पंजाब के हालात ऐसे ही रहे जिस पंजाब की जनता ने कैप्टन को मुख्यमंत्री की कुर्सी पर बिठाया है वही जनता उसे कुर्सी से उतारेगी।

Talking with the media at his office 17-A Lodhi Enclave Barewal Road, Ludhiana today, Grewal questioned Chief Minister of Jammu Kashmir Mufti Mohammad Sayeed regarding the steps taken against the policemen involved in the killing of Sikh youth. Grewal labelled this as irresponsible and unprofessional behaviour on the part of Jammu and Kashmir Police. Grewal said that he stayed at Srinagar in Kashmir Valley for a whole month prior to the elections and he worked day and night to garner confidence of Sikhs in Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and this is how the State Machinery of there very own Country rewards them back. Grewal recommends the suspension of the police officials involved and the Chief Minister of Jammu Kashmir Mufti Mohammad Sayeed to personally visit the family of the slain Sikh youth. It all began with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann ki Baat a couple of weeks ago, in which he singled out Punjab for the drug menace. “I have come across helpless and angry mothers in Punjab” he said, “The bullets that hit our soldiers is backed by drug money.” Anger against drugs runs deep in the Punjab countryside. The BJP, with its largely urban following, is for the first time eyeing rural Punjab. It sees the drug issue as the vehicle which can take it there. It was the AAP which capitalised on the issue and won a surprise four Lok Sabha constituencies in Punjab. A senior BJP leader pointed out, “If new entrant AAP could penetrate Sikh villages by taking up this issue, why can’t we do it?” Punjab BJP leaders have announced that party president Amit Shah will begin a campaign against drugs from Amritsar on January 12, and a march that touches 6,000 villages will be held. The ruling SAD, sharing power with the BJP in Punjab, immediately retaliated by asking the central government to stop the flow of drugs into the state from across the border as well as neighbouring states. Within days of this, the Enforcement Directorate (ED), which is investigating a multi-crore drug money laundering racket, issued a summons to question Bikram Singh Majithia, Punjab’s Revenue Minister and brother of Union minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal. The ED had reportedly prepared a detailed questionnaire for Majithia last month. Majithia will be questioned at Jalandhar on Friday. An unusually assertive state BJP, led by its State President Kamal Sharma, and National Secretary Tarun Chugh and National Secretary BJP Kisan Morcha Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal promptly demanded Majithia’s resignation on moral grounds. With the Akalis supporting Majithia and Badal refusing to ask him to resign, ties between an already strained alliance became more frosty. But when the opposition Congress sought to capitalise on the open rift between the two, and pushed for a no-confidence motion on the issue in the Assembly, the two allies stood together to defeat the motion. Notwithstanding this, the party is still firm on its demand for Majithia’s resignation.
