a ferocious downpour brought the kids out. they shriek and scream, rain is so rare, especially in this quantity.

Sunset over refinery
As the sun was slowly sinking over the horizon, I flew my drone as close to the part of the refinery that I wanted to capture as possible. My initial plan was to fly it to the other side of the facility as seen here so that my drone could face west, but soon after this shot, it wanted to come home. Oh well…
Nonetheless, the sky lit up thanks to the clouds hovering over the mountains. This was taken the day after Christmas, before the rainstorm which we just had a few days ago, so the mountains had no snow caps.

No fancy filters, no photoshop - this is through the car windscreen during an almost biblical downpour.
River Ribble, Settle, North Yorkshire. The rock in the water is The Queen’s Rock. It lies on the South Craven Fault. To the north the rocks are limestone, to the south millstone grit (sedimentary gritstone).

I don't know why, but I'm not completely satisfied with this one. Tell me what I did wrong. I guess I pictured it differently in my head. I almost did not post it but I want to share it and hear your opinion.
My daughter is not a ballet dancer and it's hard for her to stand on toe shoes for too long, especially to hold graceful ballet pose, so she tried her best, bless her heart.
