this was from a trip to san jose to see both the uh warriors play san jose state and the oakland raiders play the buffalo bills back in october of 2005 (contrary to what the flickr "Taken on" date says.
the oakland raiderettes, or "football's fabulous females" as they call themselves. now, before anyone gets "up in arms" the only shots i had of the raiderettes during their choreographed routines was from the back. apparently, the side we sat on was the designated "away" side and the far sideline was the "home" side, so consequently, all their performances faced away from us, except for the brief spin move in a routine. my apologies in advance for those who may take offense.
took me a long time, as you can see, to decide whether or not to post this pic.
well, if your team is losing, there's always the cheerleaders! ^^
(actually, the raiders won this home game in 2005, dusting the bills, 38-17. of course, that was just one of 10 wins over the past three seasons...some 48 games or so...but hey, sometimes you gotta just take whatever you can get!)
