El Cortez movie theater in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico.
On my way to Monticello a few weeks ago, I had to stop in a town that has one of the more interesting names. See, "T or C" (as it's known locally) once had the otherwise unremarkable name of Hot Springs, NM. In 1950, Ralph Edwards, host of the popular radio show "Truth or Consequences" announced he would broadcast the show live from any town that agreed to change its name to that of the radio show. Thus Hot Springs, NM became Truth or Consequences, NM.
I was walking around historic Annapolis this weekend and passed a house that had a bunch of books on the steps. I saw a "FREE PLEASE TAKE" sign and grabbed these two books as well as a few China dishes. I was super happy n___n

Yesterday we made a radioshow in Leipzig together with the two Georgians - the musician Gogi Dzodzuashvili & the artist Marika Asatiani in the studio from Radio Blau for one hour. In the end Gogi broadcasted four exceptionally artists from Georgia for electronic music from this very old traditionel country which is world-famous for his especially polyphonical heritage. Furthermore Nika Machaidze aka Nikakoi, Tusia Beridze aka TBA, Natia Sartania-Kituashvili aka sTia & also Gogi Dzodzuashvili himself (published his post industrial boys in Germany) were the interprets of an marvelousness evening and they brought us an individualistical and inimitable work in a musical radio-province for contemporary projects like this.
Undoubted could you listen a well-educated and intelligent view of the world. The sounds were in no case infantil and excessive technoid like whenever in the mass culture of electronic flackering in the computer scenes. Music in Georgia is on both counts a very serious approach.
The music gives me the creeps: the tone was different, well textured and dissociates from the mainstream. The voices, the poetry, the music were aloof. But, and this is very interesting & seldom, the sounds were very warmful and not difficult for our listening. The computersounds are not exalted. Easy records and compositions made the sound spaces dreamful, poetical, take somebody carry away, very inteligent sounds - it ws amazing ... I remember me on the great voice of Mesia Arabuli in one track. Traditional khevsureti voice meets modern computer sounds. This could be the future ...
I think the people have the power, the phantasy, the knowleges and the concentration to create a "huge" electric opera. I suggest a musically and performing experience between the cultures of west and east - a real life laboratory situation. I think this experiment ought to have the premiere in a old styled space. I mean the most conservative place for this is the right space - The Tbilisi Opera is the best playing ground for formant which could silently outgrow over this subliminal symbolic architecture of life.

Here is the first addition to my line of custom Mego action figures based on the stars of Golden Age movie serials. This particular Green Hornet is modeled after his celluloid counterpart from the Republic Serial, The Green Hornet Strikes Again. GA's mask is sculpted on to his face, and features a custom paint job including the Hornet insignia, a modified Mego Wizard Of Oz jacket, CTVT pants & shoes, re-painted Cast-A-Way Toys fedora, a handmade neck scarf, and GH is built on a vintage Mego body. GH's Gas Gun is hand-sculpted and painted by Little Ol' Me :) I also designed the blister card you see here sporting a Cast-A-Way Toys Clamshell. I've been sitting on this one for quite awhile, I hope you like Him :)

A musical AND a film about Queen and not ONE show about The Fall? That’s bobbins! The Church of The Fall is one man’s attempt to do justice to Mark E. Smith and his group The Fall.
It’s like trying to do justice to Beethoven in an hour but I’m doing it for the kids raised on tales of Oasis’s greatness - they weren’t even the greatest group to come out of Greater Manchester.
The show celebrates the late writer, singer, magical realist, wit and working-class genius Mark E. Smith but it’s not just about him, or his alleged pyrotechnical personality.
OK, Mark E. Smith was likely ‘no Mandela’ but could Mandela have given us Spoilt Victorian Child? Before converting to atheism at 21, I was a practising Christian. I miss the love and certainty of the faithful, so my show is about the need to believe in something greater than us all and that thing is The Fall. Expect music, love and laughs.
They say that Fall fans live in the ‘cult of The Fall’ but this music, this art is too divine for a cult - The Fall is a broad church. You don’t have to love The Fall to enjoy my show, you just need to love music. Come one, come all, to the Church Of The Fall (FREE ENTRY for ex-Fall members). Stephen G. Here is the sixth, and final (Woo-Hoo!!) addition to my World's Greatest Golden Age Heroes collection, Captain Midnight! Cap features a cowl and goggles sculpted onto a vintage Kirk head by yours truly, a Doc Mego bodysuit I modified, a belt made of electrical tape with and buckle made of an adhesive metallic paper i picked up at Michaels, CTVT boots, all featured on a Doc Mego body with painted hands, and a sesame seed bun :). The chest emblem was modified a touch, but I'm really happy with the way it came out, props to Jim, AKA actjac01 over at the Mego Museum, for bringing my emblem to life on some high quality sticker paper. You rule Man :) Thanks for looking, I hope you enjoy!
