A beautiful man named "Siva" in the ByWard Market in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
I met this beautiful fellow at a tiny restaurant while ordering take-out. He asked me to photograph him, and so I did, and gave him a tad more than he asked. Siva is a homeless man whose left hand fingertips are severely damaged due to frostbite experienced last winter.
I dare say, he is the most humble and thankful fellow I have met in a very, very long time, and will try to drop by in the near future to see how he is doing.

I leaped at the chance to ride with one of my favorite models. The bright Texas hill country day was perfect for a top down covertable sojourn. The sun had to compete with the radiance of Yessenia's smile. Light thru her silver ear rings painted shadow tattoos on the smooth tan skin of her neck. And her hair....long and brown and full...blowing in the warm wind...was both sensual and mesmerizing ; as the shutter of my nikkon clicked I thought I heard it whisper..."FREE! FREE!"

I've decided to start pulling the odd one or two of my older pictures back to the top now and again in a new set called 'Bring Back an Oldie' - it always seems such a shame to me the way the older pictures on Flickr fade into obscurity :(

This picture brings a smile to my face. I took this picture 3 years ago, when I was volunteering my time for some social cause in a remote village in Andhra Pradesh, India. I found them very cheerful despite all their hardships in life and they were very happy to have their photos taken.
Actually, There is a heart rendering story to tell here, but perhaps i'll blog about it some other time.
