*This cute brass bell came alllll the way from Campo Ligure, Italy.
And I just couldn't resist using it to make a rad ring!
It was a gift from Janos of BlindSpotJewellery!
Thank you Yanchi-san!

*side note- these challenges are like a diary, each ring every day tells alot about what you were feeling that day, what you had to do, and what you had time for.
I'm looking forward to being able to look back and remember each day and the feelings I was
having while I made my pieces....
now only if i can find some more time to blog my creative jopurney(sounds foo-foo) as I go through this process with you all,
And "I KNOW" you all are feeling and learning similar great curious things about yourselves like me from participating in this challenge!
So for the last week, there have have about 4 or 5 huge flies buzzing around my studio, being relatively annoying. The other day, I found a dead one on one of my tables. I thought I should make a ring out of it, but I didn't really want to touch it. So, I just left it there. Then today, while taking some pictures, this fly kind of dive-bombs down on to my table and does one of those perfect cowboy western death scenes. It lands on it's back and wiggles its legs and gives a few final buzzes then dies. I think these flies really wanted to be in a ring. What choice did I have?!

it is 4:53 AM and i finally got the photos and ring finished!
I started at 9pm tonight, I had no idea what I was going to do and was kind of in a panic. This is how I spent my New Years eve, doing what I love to do, what a perfect beginning of 2011!
To all the folks who participated in the RAD challenge, thank you for all your continued support and generosity.
Sadly I was not able to do the full year but I SO SO SO admire you who did!
thanks Radders!
"goodnight!"
