A quick sunset photo from just south of town near Kirkland. This is looking West/Southwest toward the Weaver Mountains near Yarnell.
Class 8 F no. 48151 heads 1Z82, the return working of the Lune Rivers Trust charter from Scarborough to Carnforth past Copmanthorpe on 29th September 2018, running alongside 1V64, a Cross Country service from York to Plymouth.
The steam special was given preference at Colton Junction!
Sébastien Buemi (#7 / ASL Mücke Motorsport, Dallara F305 Mercedes) standing in the drive out zone seconds before the starterfield drove out on the circuit for the second race of the Formula 3 Euro series which guest on the Nuerburgring, Germany from the 18th till 20th August 2006.
In the second race he achieved the 7th place (http://www.nuerburgring.de/uploads/media/FORMULA_3_EURO_SERIES_RACE_2_RESULT_01.PDF) while he even reached the 4th place in the first race (http://www.nuerburgring.de/uploads/media/FORMULA_3_EURO_SERIES_RACE_1_RESULT_01.PDF) after qualifing at the second place.
In both races Sebastian Vettel has won, who in the meantime is driving in den Formula One.
