The rabbits are taking over Bagua Mountain!

My son's comment when he saw this said, "That one you called a 'bunny', however, is mis-labeled. It's actually not a bunny at all. It's a scraggelly rabbit. Bunnies are soft and cute."

While walking in a park nere St Albans I came across this little rabbit.

He's got one of the most disapproving rabbit faces I've seen.

The Eastern cottontail (Sylvilagus floridanus) is the most common rabbit in North America. We do not see many on the islands, possibly due to the plethora of bobcats, but I caught this one along the bike path from Freshfields.

The promise of Easter, the rebirth of spring, the return of the sun. The time for bunnies, birds, flowers and sunshine. Please, pass the chocolate.

This same rabbit passes through my backyard early in the evenings.

I spotted it sitting on the side of the road.

Managed to creep up on this rabbit.

A mama rabbit decided to burrow in our backyard and we got to watch her feed her babies

 

Quite easy taking photos about the rabbits. You don't need to worry about the red-eyes. ^_^

I think this is maybe the second rabbit I've seen in the 12 years we've lived here. It wasn't too bothered by me taking pictures (I was inside the door).
