Students from Reading High School walk during a student-organized peace march meant to protest violence in their community.
I was trying to get a bit arty with buses at the time, having earlier obtained a copy of John A Gray's London buses book. Looking at the blind, I thought Aston Clinton was one place.

REFLECTING HOLONS - Level -3, Crossrail, Place
MICHIEL MARTENS & JETSKE VISSER, Netherlands
Experimenting with the ephemeral magic of light and movement, Jetske Visser and Michiel Martens call the mesmerising objects they stumbled upon by experimenting with reflecting materials HOLONS. Long strips of oil like transparent foil combined with simple spinning motors become a visual entity reflecting the lights around them as if they were water-drops.

A welcome reception for 2012/13 Chevening Scholars was held at the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London on 5 November 2012.
The event took place in the Locarno Suite where the Scholars were welcomed by the Rt Hon Hugo Swire MP, Minister of State at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, who wished them all the best on their Chevening journey.
Lunch was followed by a thematic networking session in which Scholars were encouraged to meet fellow Scholars studying similar subjects at different universities across the UK.
Approximately 150 Scholars attended the event.
